I knew people were getting wayyyy ahead of themselves when they were screaming that Golden was an All SEC type player after two games agaist cream puffs.

Great effort though. This team has a chance to be much better then anyone possibly thought they could be.

I'm at work and been following along on espn. I pulled it up and it said end 2OT Tennessee 95 Memphis 93 and I started yelling that we won. What an ass.....

If you take last year's game out the last three UT-Memphis games have been decided by a total of eight points. I wish this series got more hype because it's always interesting no matter what the shape is of both teams.

Golden clearly lost the game for us, I know he is going to be one of our leaders, but with his play in the second half, I would have benched him in OT.

Has everyone forgotten that this team was down by 16 points in the first half and came back to force double overtime? Of course they did some stupid stuff at the end of the game, but to even be in a position for the end of the game to matter is amazing!

Martin has the guys playing over their heads. Anyone with basketball intelligence can recognize this. I hope it continues and does so with consistent improvement.

Golden is a very good player, he was pressing today, made some horrible decisions, but he will learn from his mistakes today, because this staff can actually teach and coach.

Tough loss that was closer than anyone would've ever believed after getting down 16. We had our chance in the first OT. Just bad possessions when we had a 2 point lead and could've stretched it out multiple times. Golden just flat out struggled. He didn't play well yesterday or today really. He'll get better and the team will too.

We are still a fairly inexperienced team and still learning Martin's system. This is going to be a fun team to watch grow. We'll experience some growing pains along the way, but this is a much better team than I could've ever thought.

Before the season started, I was completely against going to the Pitt game because it started right in the middle of the SEC Championship Game. Now, though, I feel like we as fans need to pack the house and show this team as much support as possible.

Guess we should just be happy the team made it to OT. That non call on the charge followed by the made up foul after was bs. And with the game on the line in OT, Golden(i think) gets mugged and no call. Guess we should be happy that they were called for traveling.

This season is already annoying. A team that plays hard but makes too many mistakes and reffing that goes against them. I probably shouldn't blame the refs with the selfish play of Golden. He kept driving to the paint when to get rejected and jacking up poor shots. At some point you gotta just distribute the ball and stop driving 10 times to be rejected.

Sigh...

I do have faith for this season to get better but the refs the past two games seriously piss me off and Golden hogging the ball today cost them the game. Seriously, point guards should not be forcing bad shots. He took more shots than anyone which means he was putting himself first. That is not what point guards do unless they're Derrick Rose. Even then, I think Rose costs the Bulls important games. Distribute the dang ball

Golden is a Soph and has little experience with this role. He's going to make some mistakes and have some bad games. quit being so reactionary

That would've been a good resume win. I hope the selection committee takes this loss into consideration if we end up on the bubble. They really fought hard.
