Tennessee's Biggest Problem In Dayton.

I see ok state assistant was on the tennessee coaching staff 97-05, and their team doctor spent 13 years at tennessee as the head team physician, for the mens athletic department. There's a few ties to these teams.

I thought you were gonna say the biggest problem is that Ohiovol09 will be there.... :neener:

Nice one gramps. I will be in attendance, and I look forward to meeting all that make the trip up here to Dayton and the UD Arena :)

If Chism leaves, he's getting awful advice. Smith is 50-50.

Remember...the draft will be very weak this year....still Chism and Smith have no business going....but if NBA GM's are dumb enough to draft them....then....we'll see....

They drew two teams with really good point guards. If Byron Eaton doesn't execute them, Levance Fields almost certainly will.

There biggest problem in Dayton is that Prince, Tatum, Tabb, Woolridge, Hopson and Maze are going.

If UT survives the first round and Maze starts his woofing and shenanigans against Pitt, he might get himself hurt. Severely. The same goes for a couple of other guys on the UT roster.

So there is a chance someone could stop all Price's BS? I love it.

My favorite moment of the day was him making a set shot from three and spinning and yelling back down court like they just won the NCAA instead of him making his third three of the season.

Why would Smith come back if he's got any kind of a shot to play in Europe or the NBA? What is he coming back to? He will be with the same team that still can't spread the defense with an outside shot. Maze/Tabb/West at the point. Hall is the only improvement coming in and I don't think he will be a difference maker.

you know, he's not the only one....all of them need to just shut up and play ball....quit all the yelling...whinning (Brian Williams) and saluting and trash talking....just play ball....maybe then you'll have the "focus" to win close games....

The committee wanted to make sure that no SEC team had a chance to make it to the Sweet 16. Hell, MSU has the best chance. I'd much rather take their spot.

the SEC deserved the spots they got....three so so teams....might have played a lot of tough teams...didn't beat very many of them....

Agreed. They definitely have an inflated view of themselves.

The committee didn't have to do anything to keep SEC teams from reaching the second weekend. The general suckitude of the league's teams takes care of that.

even more so after a couple of wins....then they really get the big head....become even more lazy and more stupid....if that's possible.....

That was hilarious. I enjoyed the fact that he stood there with the ball for about five seconds, and you could hear the wheels turning in his head - "Wow, I'm wide open. Should I shoot this? I suck at shooting, and coach may yell at me during the next timeout, but man, I really, really wanna shoot. I mean, B-Maze and Wheezy shoot the 3, it's not fair that I don't get to!", finally realized that no MSU player was going to contest the shot (and why should they?), then shot the ball with his feet firmly rooted to the floor, with virtually no arc, and somehow it goes in, and now he thinks he's a perimeter shooter.

Our impressive .500 record in games against powerhouses Auburn, Mississippi State, and Alabama.

Hat I have a question for you as many others do on this board often times. Would you like to see Tennessee be successful in this tournament, or in any venue for that matter?

I've not read all of your near 32,000 posts have been negative. I'm not saying that being a fan means you go into the game thinking your team is going to win just because that is who you are pulling for. I believe you can be a fan and also be realistic as well. Somewhere down the line though out of those 32,000 posts someone who would call themselves a fan of a team would have to say something on the positive side.

You have a very eloquent vocabulary a nice choice of diction and in some cases show very good knowledge for the topic you are writing on. After you wade through the harsh words, negative outlook, and pessimism of your posts to get to those points. ...One starts to wonder if this guy thinks so badly of these programs why does he take the time out of his day to post 32,000 times.

You guys are the most pessimistic fans. I agree that we got screwed with a 9 seed but I think we got the weakest one seed in the tourney. Plus, all ok state has is Eaton.

I don't think Hat wants the UT bball team to fail as much as he wants short term failure to lead to a coaching change. He doesn't think CBP can leas this team to a championship level.

No. I want him to prove me wrong. If I didn't root against Fulmer, why would I root against Pearl?

Thanks for the clarification - I also hope he proves you wrong. I hope this year is not a trend.

I tend to hope you do not "not root against me" anytime. If that is what you call your attitude toward Fulmer, lol.

for all of hat's trashing of fulmer, not once (that I can recall) did he ever hope for the football team to lose a game.
