Amazing win in front of a Georgia crowd on their courts. Playing against Southern Cal for the national championship on ESPNU....doesn't get any better than this! Go Vols!

I know this is a football thread and alot may not be interested....but anytime the Vols play for a national championship.....it is a very good thing. So for those that don't know the men's tennis Vols play Southern Cal tomorrow at 6pm in Athens, Ga and it will be televised live on ESPNU. This team is amazing and their record is something like 31-1 on the year. Feel free to move the thread...I just wanted to place it for a while for all to see that are interested and might want to see a bit of UT history tomorrow.....and Go Vols!

USC was I believe the 5th seed and upset #1 seed Virginia, the only team to beat Tennessee this season. USC is the
defending champ, but this team is legit. Hopefully they can bring it home

It's nice to be in any sort of championship these days.

Great job by Coach W. I remember when he first came on and he's made some tremendous strides with this program. Great guy as well.

Have an excellent chance to bring the national championship home. Plus any Vol coverage (ESPNU) on national TV is fantastic.

How is a tennis NCAA contest scored? How many matches are there? Singles + doubles?

True, and I stated that. But like I said anytime the Vols are playing for a National Championship....it's a great thing. Some fans only look at the football forum and this was just a way to make sure all knew. ESPNU...6 tomorrow night. I think if you are a Vols fan...you want to know football forum or not.
