Texas A&M coming to the SEC????

I'd actually lean towards NC State myself. The SEC has done well adding from the middle, and it gives a foothold in the only Southern state left without an SEC team.

NC st likely isn't budging.

FSU's interesting, but I'm not so sure if the rumored interest is so much that they actually are or that people think "pick is sexier".....

they have one national championship in the 30s.they havent finnished in the top 5 in the last 50 years. they are far from a powerhouse.

it's one thing to play each other in a game that's just a rivalry; it's a completely different thing to have it also be yearly for conference standing implications

they don't want to have to play FSU and ALSO have it hold an SEC championship spot on the line

But this is what its coming down to anyway. 16 school super conferences. Its gonna get harder for everyone considering the competion that may be coming into the SEC. But I think it will be four divisions and then playoffs. SEC wants to be first with this.

By the way, pac 12 is suggesting ou, okie st, ku, and mu to form the pac 16. SEC has to move quick to get what they want, I would think.

They are better than us right now and with the recruiting have a potential to be looking down on us for a while.

This is going to suck, My two favorite teams will haft to play on a regular basis. At least I know one will win.

If you think this will help Tennessee's recruiting, especially in the state of Texas, I think you need a trip to your local psychiatrist.

If you don't think it will hurt our recruiting of Texas kids, I don't know what to tell you.

I understand how it'll hurt in the specific case of Dalton Santos, but I don't know how it hurts overall. More exposure in the area usually means improved recruiting.

Being in the sec will give kids a great reason to stay in Texas imo

Kids are already staying in Texas. This will certainly help Texas A&M, but Texas A&M is one school, and Texas is a big state with a lot of football talent. More exposure (both TV and live) can only help us against the other schools that pull from Texas, which is worth a lot more than it hurting against A&M.

there's no way the pac 12 wants KU; unfortunately for kansas, no one does

KU, KSU, ISU, and Baylor are destined for the Mountain West imo. If the Big 12 collapses, that is.
