Texas Governor has had enough of Biden’s BS! Sending illegals to D.C.

The Houston Chronicle this morning: "...state officials will begin busing migrants to Washington D.C. Thursday morning, said Texas Division of Emergency Management Chief Nim Kidd, whose agency is overseeing the operation. Abbot was asked where the apprehended migrants will be dropped off said, 'The first location will be the steps of the United States Capitol.'"

I'll believe it when I see it.

Yea right..that’s it
The unintended consequence of eliminating national power creates a vacuum and higher level of control by a global governance.
Pure libertarianism is a unicorn

Pure anything is a unicorn. I don’t get your point.

Sometimes I wonder why immigration at the border needs to be a federal issue? Why not let the border states decide how they want to handle it?

And if we're going to do buses, let's just have a non-stop fleet that picks them up from Mexico and delivers them to Canada?

The borders with Mexico are really both national and state boundaries. States should already have the ability to act. In most cases (perhaps all) the border jumpers are passing directly onto state territory. There are some cases where the US holds land adjacent to the border that may be exempt from state jurisdiction.

Do the feds own a few feet of border clearance? As the feds do own so much access over the entire border, the states should build their own wall where Fed ownership ends.

Edit

The Roosevelt Reservation is the 60-foot (18 m)-wide strip of land owned by the United States Federal Government along the United States side of the United States–Mexico Border in three of the four border states.

I see state loopholes for this invasion

Thanks for that information - something I didn't know, It honestly makes a lot of sense having the space without encroaching on private property - not that it does much good when nobody seems to want to halt illegal immigration or work real hard to stop smuggling. Imagine with that space, we could erect a barrier to boost the manpower patrolling the border.

The governor of Texas needs to mobilize the Texas State Guard and the Texas Ranges and invade Mexico. Time to avenge the Alamo... again.

Manifest destiny!

Joe wants open boarders here but not Ukraine, makes total sense.
I’d say that’s because Joe doesn’t receive votes from people in Ukraine, but with the Democratic Party, who the hell knows. Perhaps he does.

Open boarders is a ****ing stupid idea.
To say that libertarians are for it is ****ing stupid.
It’s as stupid as saying libertarians don’t have locks on their doors because they don’t believe on keeping people out of their houses.
Or do only certain boarders matter to libertarians?
The actual Libertarian Party platform is for open borders. Which is why I'm often pointing this out in here. You may know that but other people don't. A lot of people like to make the claim they are Libertarian because they don't want to identify as Republican or Democrat. When it comes to actually supporting LP Party candidates in elections they don't do it. Then you have self proclaimed Libertarians supporting vaccine mandates which go entirely against Libertarian principles.

Which is why the Mises Caucus needs to form their own political party. I think a party under the Mises umbrella would get more support than the actual LP party.

The third oldest party in the U.S. still exists as well. The Prohibition Party.

I'm also of the opinion that if you support open borders then you should have no problem welcoming immigrants in your homes and in your neighborhoods. Unfortunately much of the open border crowd is also the Not In My Back Yard crowd.

lol what? Republicans and democrats love illegals, because they’re cheaper labor. If illegals were really an issue, you could fine companies to the point where it’s cost prohibitive to hire illegals. But no politician will ever do it, because they want illegals in our country.

Holy crap. 25-30 illegals dropped off in DC. Gonna change the whole dynamic of that city. Great political theater for 5-10k. And not a single person outside of fox news gives a shite.

So now everyone is ok with people breaking the laws? Hard to keep up anymore

You know the deal. You don't have to play dumb. Tennessee (Bill Lee) should do the same thing when he catches Majorkas sending them to Tennessee.
I get the deal that hypocrisy is ok as long as it's your side. If they are truly criminals as many here like to say then they should be treated as such right? Or is ignoring the law for political points now ok for both sides?
