Texas, 'He Is Lying. People Are Dying'

I thought research was your thing.....apparently your skills have seriously eroded
Power retailer Griddy to customers in face of freeze: Please, leave us
We are always getting slammed with third party reseller offers. Goes back to deregulation. For example we use TXU Energy as our “provider” but the grid is owned and maintained by Oncor. We’ve been with TXU for years and currently aren’t under a long term contract. I’m guessing we will see a spike in our bill for a couple of months since we aren’t currently under a long term contact but Jan thru Mar are our lowest months for electrical cost anyway. It gets back to how your house is setup. We have gas heat. Our neighbor has a heat pump with electric backup. They are going to get a** ****d by this storm. We will pay a premium on seasonally low electricity with some nominal increase in natural gas usage.

California is in a constant state of disaster.
Texas has three days of rolling blackouts due to unprecedented weather and it's media chaos.

California has yearly seasons of blackouts due to mismanagement of everything from forests to infrastructure and it's media silence or, of course, blaming California republicans.

I have confidence in your ability to figure it out. If you think about it for a few years, the point will come to you, like magic!
I figured it out. It’s only 24MW capacity for the whole farm and the video also said that the majority of the state relies on fossil fuels due to the known reliability. Thanks for proving our point Einstein.
🤡

A couple years ago Chattanooga and Red Bank didn't have water for 3 days. Our family managed to live. Little did I know I basically survived 82 Omaha beaches in that timeframe. I am a hero.

"In Portland, Texas, Brianna Blake told CNN's Chris Cuomo on Wednesday that she and her husband kept their children warm by using household items as firewood, including artwork and fencing, as they dealt with 36 hours of no heat in their home. "

Imagine burning pressure treated wood inside your home. Maybe they ran out of oily rags?

Do you have hurricane blow out panels or a FEMA spec storm room in your home? If not why not don’t you care about your family you negligent head of household?
I made sure my parents' house here on the side of a mountain in the middle of Appalachia was hurricane proof, tornado proof, earthquake proof, and nuke proof because I like *****ing away money.

It will be 69' tall with a 420" base.
The first time I went to a Texas game with my wife I saw the Earl Campbell statue and told her it was actual size. That's why he was so good. She told her parents lol. This is the statue btw.

Or wildfire, or earthquake, or mudslide or heatwave or......God must really hate California with all the natural disasters (used to be called "acts of God")
Haha I hear you on that. I was actually using a hurricane as an example because this insane back to back winter storm going all the way into SE Texas is about as likely as an actual hurricane hitting California. It just doesn’t happen. Which if people actually use their brains can figure out why they aren’t equipped to handle this sort of climate Instead of creating a false narrative .

It's an out of context YouTube video about wind turbines thousands of miles from the topic of the thread. I'd prefer not to try to pivot my mind that deep into dementia to figure it out.

Unless of course you're trying to make the point that the way things are done in an arctic climate should be done the same way in the American Southwest. Then I'll just laugh at you for failing out of elementary school.

Stay focused and try, try, try! Even your brain on drugs(see below) can understand, in a few years, maybe. I know you can!
