From the PrepTennessee site. UCLA, Louisville, and Auburn have all offered and Thad is interested in each. Notre Dame has told him they are very interested and once he improves his ACT score they are sending him an offer.

McHaney was also impressed with Tennessee during his visit to Vol country.

"Tennessee was kind of the same way as Ole Miss. I visited with all of the coaches that I really had not gotten to know from before. They always have a chance to win the SEC or national championship. Their resume is impressive. Coach Clawson and I have a good relationship."

Not a big loss. If he plays DE, he is a project. At TE, I didnt see anything that would make me believe he would ever be a threat to catch a football.

Doesnt matter regardless. Wouldnt be an impact player as a TE at UT. What ever school he chooses, he needs to be smart and develop into a DE.
