Sacrilege? Not even close. With that loss even big media members are publicly calling for dooley's firing, nevermind the entire fanbase. I dont see how any fan could conclude that a 4 ot win would be anywhere near as valuable to the program as this loss is.

Trying to weigh the Short-term sadness the players might feel from yet ANOTHER dooley loss up against the brighter future this program just won itself last night is incomparable and ignorant at best. no one has hurt the kids more than dooley and his incompetence...not sure how this could be refuted.

Lol, nice try. No amount of hero or white knight comments can touch that. But anyway, yes I am a true fan, thanks for noticing. Any true fan would do what it takes to get this moron fired and get this program moving. Another loss was the quickest way to make it happen. Problem?

No matter how much I want a new and upgraded coaching situation, I simply could never feel grateful for a loss. This loss burns and I am in no way happy about it.

The time for feeling sick over losses under dooley is over. Dont be ignorant, you and everyone else knows this was the best thing to happen to ut football in a long time. Just say it...it feels better than you might expect

Wtf? I just explained why in my post. are you really gonna sit here and tell me that loss didnt benefit the program. Not sure if youre trying to be a hero or just in denial. Regardless, know this...at least half the folks here (probably more) agree with me on this. The other half are just too chivalrous to say it out loud

True fans would want this blight on humanity removed from the sidelines. He is a whiny little beeeoch - a Saban wannabe without the brains or the record. He does not deserve to walk the sidelines of our great university. He is a vile, despicable little weasel who needs to be run out of here on a rail! To pull for this tard is to pull against the sacred, honorable winning tradition of UT football!!

Yeah, let's make this personal. Because his worth and his morals as a person are dependent on his coaching ability. There is no room for this. Great man, not really there as a coach.

Why is he great? he throws his players under the bus. He makes the fans promises he can't keep. Nobody likes him. Nobody there wants to be around them because he is rumored to be a self-important little prick. He whines after losses. He throws his headsets on the ground like a whiny little baby throwing a temper tantrum. The clown is a total and complete embarrassment to this university and a pox on anybody who would support a braindead fool like this !!:angry:

I totally agree with you, OP. Today's loss will benefit the program in the long run. I'm not gonna lie, once it went to ot I didn't care if we did lose just to put the final nail in the coffin. Dooley is a walking failure that has no idea wtf he's doing during the game.

Because a Tenn win over Mizzou would increase the chances of a Dooley return and another 6-7 season (if that at all).

-you content that im not a true fan because im happy about a loss
-i contend that I am a true fan because I can see the big picture and how valuable this loss is to the future of ut football.

The difference? I have unshakable logic behind mine, and you have just an empty platitude behind yours.

I don't like that thinking at all. I want to win. And I will tell you that Dooley was gone regardless of the outcome.
