For returning real football to the top of the SEC, you have my eternal gratitude. No more glorified single wing with a fullback masquerading as a quarterback at the top of the standings. The SEC is the closest thing to the NFL out there. Thank God, now it'll start looking like it again.

I despise Saban. I'd rather Tebow and Florida win again before I see him lift the crystal ball.

I concur. As much as I don't like Bama, at least there is a real football team atop the SEC instead of a three ring gimmick of a circus.

Pretty ridiculous. I knew Saban would do well, but dang. 3 years. Already 2 BCS bowls and an SEC Championship.

Some of us warned everyone what was coming. Most refused to believe. The Reign of Saban has begun.

All I know is.... you're not a Tennessee fan if you're pimping Alabama as greatness. Nick Saban is an awesome coach and Alabama looked great but you know what.... riding their jock makes you look like anything but a Tennessee fan. Thank you Nick Saban? I have a "Thank You" for Nick Saban... replace "Thank" with a(figure it out) F word and that's all I have to say.

Ugh.. You seem way too happy about this...
I enjoy seeing excellence rewarded. I also get some laughs thinking about all the brilliant Fulmerites who continually opined that Saban's hiring at Alabama was no big deal and Phillip the Hut would soon have us back on top of the SEC. Good to see that turned out like everything else the Orange Overall crowd believed in.

I'd rather Fulmerites be right than see my favorite team's rival take over the conference.

Thanks, Hat...now the recurring dreams of 2001 will haunt me once again....

Saban's hiring at Alabama changed this league for the better. He showed up, didn't give a damn about toothless rednecks babbling about "tradition." He simply showed up and got down to the business of building a national title quality team. If Alabama hadn't been the first one in the new era pool, Tennessee never hires Lane Kiffin.

And two 12-0 regular seasons.

But notice this is the weakest the SEC has been in a while.

Georgia has been a joke this year and not "that" great last year.

Tennessee=5-7 and 7-5

South Carolina is South Carolina as usual.

Vandy and UK...enough said.

LSU with 7 and 8 wins.

Ole Miss had a good year last year, but have been unimpressive this year.

Arky is mediocre as usual, on the way up though.

Auburn the same as UT the last 2 years.

Miss St is Miss St as usual.

Hasn't been tough for UF or UA the last 2 years really.

I do remember quite a few posters calling him a snake oil salesman.

What are you babbling about?

The SEC was already considered the best.

Now Tennessee has to play him every year and it doesn't change the SEC at all. They've already dominated the championship since the BCS era started.

Hook me up with whatever you smoke or drink. Sound like a Bama fan to me.
