That game made Tennessee America’s second favorite team.

Same here. Strange that I haven’t heard a peep out of the only bama fan I know. 🤔
So this just happened. I normally work from home most days. Today I had to come into the office to open the DC up for a SOC1 audit. When I entered the office area two guys I talked to about football, one FL ST fan and one FL fan, stood up and applauded. Both saying that was one h*ll of a game. I said thanks but I'm just a fan. The Vols deserve the applause.

I said it's GREAT to be a Tennessee Vol!.

That game had a huge audience either live on tv or thru YouTube and other social media for the end of it or thru highlites.
i am hearing from and reading about so many college football fans saying they are a primary fan of another school but they have now adopted us as their second favorite team.

Why?
We just beat an unlikable entitled king 🤴 of college football team and their very unlikable curmudgeon coach.
We now play an exciting brand of football.
Our passionate fans are contagious and fun to be around.
Players like HH who are just nice humble guys that don’t brag or berate opponents.
Our “every man” type Head Coach who is so relatable.
Smokey
The Vol Navy
The Pride and running thru the T.
It is indeed Great to be a Tennessee Vol even for those with shared allegiances.
And for those of us who have always had the Vols as our primary love, there’s no 3 finer words to say (and know it’s really true) than..
WE ARE BACK!!!
Goose bumps!!

My son was at the UGA vs Vandy game. Free tickets and we live close to Athens. He left at halftime and came home to watch the second half. He said all the UGA fans around him were watching the TN / Bama game on their phone at the stadium. He also informed me that every commercial break they played game highlights on the jumbo-tron and the GA fans were cheering loud for the Vols. Bama hate runs deep!

What? Cell service or functional wi-fi in a stadium? Impossible!

Wlac in Nashville 1510 am...used to carry Vol Network. 50k watt station heard all over the southeast and midwest....but a few years ago they stopped carrying Vols and went with Vandy. I get it. Nashville is the home of Vandy...but it sucks cuz I used to be able to listen to Vol Calls and all that even living up north....and any games that were on at night. Wlac doesn't even carry Vandy anymore. I think some fm station does now.

The Florida audio definitely seems to be dubbed in unfortunately. You can hear a bit of cheering in this video (which seems to be the original source), but nothing like the eruption in the video shared here:

Scroll to the 5:15 mark of the 1st quarter.

Georgia fans definitely don’t like us but they got the same kind of back handed compliments and excuses last year when they beat Bama for the NC. I hope we can upset Georgia in Athens but if we don’t I hope Georgia blows Bama out in the Championship Game

David Pollock a former great UG Bulldogs defense player and others that picked the Crimson Tide will remember forever the 2022 day the Volunteers upset the favored Crimson Tide by defeating them 52-49, and the orange fireworks after the Volunteers made a game winning field goal.

About 20:37 in the video time line a crowd roar begins in the video and lasts till about 20:50. Doesn't quite sound like the one in the video I posted.

Yeah, I went to record it from the original game video since it was in wide screen and was disappointed to hear that it was a lot quieter than in the original video posted here lol

How stupid do the Georgia fans have to be to not realize this is trouble for them? Awesome video though.

As someone that grew up in GA, they’re uniquely stupid. I hope uGA loses every football game they play by 100 until the end of time. For me, our biggest game of the year falls on November 5th. Let’s put down those mongrels!

I usually don’t play this song until UT/UGA Week.
but, just for you…here it is…one of my favorites courtesy of our fellow UGA haters at Georgia Tech.

Henry T goes out of the program and Hendon Hooker comes into the program. Notice the difference anyone?
Seeing him knee hendon hooker in the face made me hate him. I've never wished this on any player but I hope he gets his knees blown out during the season. Just pathetic actions from him all game

I don't like it.

I wanna be the bad guy.

For 15 years we have been insulted. Belittled. Downplayed. We deserved every minute of it and more.

Big Orange Train is full now though..

I want teams to tear down goalposts after they beat us for the first time in a generation. I want to be hated. I want a feeling of inevitability. I want certain geographic segments of the country to be repulsed by the color orange. I want the first notes of "Rocky Top" dreaded. Is that too much to ask for?

I actually think the “media darling” aspect might benefit Tennessee this time around. There’s so much positive media, that in a close Heisman race, I could almost believe more people would vote for the “Cinderella Story” Hendon Hooker than the Big 10 wire to wire favorite.
