That's how you beat Gonzaga...

Seriously? You bust on Pearl for losing to a better team and then pump up Bob Huggins in the same thread? I understand he's a personal friend of yours and all, but his only hint of success at WVU was with Kevin Pittsnogle.
This is just Huggins' second year at WVU. I don't think Pittsnogle was even on Beilein's last team, but I could be wrong on that one.

Ahh, looked it up. You are correct. I was giving Huggins undue credit.

So you think everyone that likes to drink is a sleazebag? Judgemental much....

Talking about judgemental???? And plenty of ignorance to boot. LOL . I wasn't even talking about his drinking. I could care less about that. The fact very few of his players EVER get their degrees is part of it. I am not talking about graduation rates. I am talking about getting their degress anytime. He can count the number of players he has coached over the years who have gotten their degrees on two hands The type of players he has recruited over the years are questionable at best in character. His Xs and Os have little to do with it.

And as Hat pointed out what about last year at WVU IE?

What about it? He was pimping Huggins as the coach UT should have gotten besides Pearl.

WVU went 26-11 and 11-7 in conference. All I can say about that is, ehhhh.

Hat will have a much better statement to this garbage than I would. I'll wait for him. He's a basketball "expert."

If anyone wants further indication of Hugg's abilities look no further than his 2 most recent understudies while he was at UC. Mick Cronin and Andy Kennedy. 2 guys doing more with less than any team in the nation.

I agree with that, Andy Kennedy is doing a great job at Ole Miss, with all the injuries he probably has the least amount of talent in the SEC and they are competing with everyone and winning some big ballgames. I wonder if anybody will be able to pull him away from Ole Miss?

I won't have any statement to it. I don't respond to anything from people I long ago put on ignore. However, I will put a standing $50,000 bet to anyone who wants a piece that Bob Huggins graduated more than 10 players in his time at UC. Also, anyone who wants to go down that road ought to check Saint Pearl's graduation rate at Milwaukee.

This may be a question for Hat. I have always thought Tyler's game compared to Pete Mickeal's while at UC. Fair comparison?
Tyler's a better offensive player. Pete was a better defender.

West Virginia made the Sweet 16 and played into overtime before being eliminated. How much further did Tennessee go?

You're killing me.

I wasn't real sure about CBP rate but I heard it wasn't that great. I figured you would know.

I think that comes from being asked to do too much more than it does from any actual regression in his game.

he has been asked to handle it some, but what else? I think he's afraid to go up over people now in the lane like he was last year.

He ends up 20 feet from the basket a whole lot more this year than last. That's not his game and it results in those wild forays to the basket that are becoming all too frequent.

that's true, but I also think he struggles badly with it now when he catches it on the high post against a zone. He's still a great passer from there, but he has lost some confidence in that short range jumper.

They both were elminated in the same round.
Remind me where they were seeded. Getting beaten in overtime in the Sweet 16 as a 7 seed=A pretty good effort. Getting disembowled in the Sweet 16 as a 2 seed=Not so good.

What's the point? Are you arguing that WVU had a better season than UT because they were a lower seed in the NCAA tournament?
