Something affects you, or has an effect on you. Affect is generally a verb. Effect is usually a noun.

72 is correct that in general things affect you (verb) while things that are the result of something are an effect (noun).

However, the term affect is a psychological term similar to "like" so affect can be a noun.

It's the what gives you the right to think you have any right to act any way other than civil to me "thing". I don't care about your feelings or delicate sensibilities and/or anything about you, and guess what, I'll keep that to myself inside my own head.

What the majority of these lefties, who have been sheltered and coddled all their life, don't understand is that in many places an aggressive look can get you killed, not beaten, killed. Your swarmy and self righteous manners mean nothing to anyone but "you", and the fact that they think that somehow they are the arbiter of what is right or wrong is the issue.

Then decides to make a video about it. Why? Well for the attention aspect of "look at me."

A red hat with whatever the wearer wants to put on it is free speech. It's coming to the point that someone is going to yank a hat off someone and get their ass whooped in self defense.
