That's racist!

Finally someone else sees the irony here........

Doesn’t matter. It’s more important to the left to reshape/reassign the narrative regardless of facts. Nothing is more important than pushing false narratives to reinforce their tattle tale society they’re seeking to achieve. Same as the Land O Lakes logo designed by Mr des Jarlais, a Native American artist.

I'm liberal, but this is complete BS. Are you not supposed to watch out for your own neighborhood? I mean, how many adults do chalk art on their own house? He could have easily ended the situation by saying it was his house. Instead, he assumed racism, provoked them into calling the cops because it looked like vandalism, and now they're both fired. How does this improve race relations?

Agree EL. (Hell just froze). They made a mistake in that they didn’t know it was his propert, but that’s all. If it was a white guy I’m willing to bet they would’ve done the same. Seems to be people that want to receive full grace from others, no questions asked, but aren’t willing to extend that same grace to others. I hope this couple sues the living s*** out of their employers and win.

I watched the video several times. I just see no evidence of racial animus. The idea that a middle-aged, gay Asian-American male is seen as out of place in a SF neighborhood seems like a stretch. To me, I find it very odd for an adult who owns a multi-million dollar home to be scrawling political slogans on it with chalk. I think if you surveyed 10 people and showed them the same facts 9/10 would say it's more likely that (1) he's a protestor tagging someone else's property, than (2) he's writing in chalk on his own property. And, I should add, the woman specially asked him if he was the owner before accusing him of anything.

I didn't know about the historical usage of uncle and aunt in the south:

"Uncle" was a common appellation used in the Southern United States to refer to older male black slaves or servants.[12] However, the imagery evokes a servant and uses a title that reflects how white Southerners "once used 'uncle' and 'aunt' as forms of address for older blacks because they refused to say 'Mr.' and 'Mrs.'" [14]

Wow now I’ve have got to call all my aunts and uncles and apologize to them for the years of calling them black folks . You should stop reading whatever you are reading .

Um..not sure about that. I know what people called em, and it wasn't ever Uncle or Aunt.
