I only heard them called that growing up and only learned they were Brazil Nuts late in HS.I had NEVER heard them called that till about ten years ago. Number one, we were absolutely not allowed to use that N word at our house growing up. So when a woman who was at my house referenced Brazil nuts (we had several small bowls of mixed nuts throughout the house for a party we were hosting) as “ ******* toes” thinking she was being funny, I told her I had never heard that before and didn’t really care for it either. I’m Southern born and bred, but just never heard that growing up wrt Brazil nuts.

Yeah. People actually believe in Florida that black babies were used for gator bait. Its one of the dumbest things Ive ever heard of with zero basis in fact. The argument always centers around some postcards and a news paper article or two with zero proof. Basically what started as a joke snowballed into racist mythology that is easily believed for the low IQ types.hahhaha they are doing away with their Gator Bait cheer because it's racist?
