Are you willing to unpack the following:^This is not what the underprivileged are asking for. Well I’d argue those that still directly profit off the advantage acquired by oppression owe a bill.
Your underlying premise sounds good but systematic racism exists. You do your credibility a disservice by not acknowledging. There can be no equality until the system and its vestiges are addressed.
It's totally a hate fact. Just like 13/50 is a hate fact.Georgetown law professor fired for comments on Black students' performance
Trying to figure out how this is racist. The professor is stating the results from his/her class.
We are not more together as a country. The side that you're on just feels better right now because your guy won. The fact is nothing has changed, this country is deeply divided and the ones stoking the division are the people in power. As long as sheep like you and those on the right buy in and walk through life with red or blue colored glasses the longer this goes on and the deeper the divide gets.A true hero!
Did you know...”He spoke to America the day before he was murdered and said, "America, all we ask is that you be true to what you said on paper." He also began to say that most Americans were unconscious racists. He began to challenge the notion that America was a racially blind, racially neutral country and he began to argue that many Americans would not come to grips with their own racist beliefs, ideas, and practices.”
A Georgetown professor explains how Martin Luther King Jr. 'has been severely whitewashed'
You keep assuming what Biden will do but provide no facts. He has already taken tremendous action. Wake up and lose the agenda. You’re being a sheep now.
We are more together as a country today than we were throughout the Trump administration. I know several people who feel much more safe in their community just because of the change in the executive office. Hell, 4 years ago, if people were not still out protesting Trump, there were just concluding.
We agree that it starts with the people! This very conversation may help someone.
Wealth disparity is only an 'issue' if your god is money. Measures of 'poverty' in this country are subjective at best and political weapons at worst. It's best to visit most any other country in the world to get perspective. We are not more together as a country. The side that you're on just feels better right now because your guy won. We can have a discussion about systemic racism but even that is diluted and morphed into something much more difficult to fight. The real issue facing Americans of all colors is wealth disparity and how we achieve more balance. That isn't to say we take from one group and give to another, that accomplishes nothing. We have to correct and fight the self imposed and systemic reasons for that disparity. Then the country can achieve the next level of healing.

What has Biden done for black people? You should catch up from the ‘80s and ’90s. Biden has already done more for black people than Trump did in his 4 long years.
Is it even a serious question? Should I have voted for the candidate who openly debates if systematic racism exists? A shadow friend of white supremacists and the party of the confederate flag?
There is some truth to this but there is also a happy medium. The poorest areas of this country are stark in contrast with the rest of the country, with that disparity of wealth also comes disparity in basic healthcare, education etc. We have to do better.Wealth disparity is only an 'issue' if your god is money. I inferred from the quote the professor had angst against the situation she observed (black students at the bottom of the class every semester). I didn't take it she had angst against the black student. It was a stupid thing to say, period. But saying that on a Zoom call, knowing it is recorded, takes it to the next level.
Love it. The cure for systemic racism is racism.Your posts come across as if you don’t understand systematic racism. Even here you contradict yourself.
The bolded cannot be accomplished until the system and its vestiges are addressed.
It is from class results. How is that stupid?
We now live in a society where some fringe kooks in local positions of authority absurdly ascribe racism to all types of things and the sensational "news" media picks it up and runs with it. Recent examples:
Math is racist
Asian people are now white because they do well in school
Being on time is racist
Basically disagreeing with a black person or pointing out a deficiency is racist
Any damn thing black people want to deem as racist...is racist
So knowing those things, why even go there?
No it’s not fair. You’re being lazy with an agenda. Look at what he has already done. You’re clearly ignoring his progress on purpose. You’re still being a Fox News sheep.Biden has a long history in politics. I think it's fair to look at that body and say he'll do as he's always done, nothing.
No one should cherry-pick individual sections of quotes to further an agenda or idea he would not believe in. I agree with the bolded.MLK was just a man. Perhaps he has been somewhat white-washed, in more ways than one. We don't talk about his foibles very much either. He also lived in a different time, when racism truly was around every corner. This is not that same world. But his frustrations, his human foibles, none of that takes away from the wisdom of his words.
Um, it’s not debatable. Minorities are living with a lot less fear. White supremacists have started to cower back to their holes. I don’t hear the ridiculous talk of civil war anymore. Protests are down significantly. The temperature of hate has been lowered. Even this racist thread is more tame. I can go on and it’s just been 3 months. Meanwhile, Trump was literally dubbed the great divider in chief .The fact you think we're more together now as a country, now that we've gotten rid of that bad orange man, that's just laughable. This country hasn't had a true leader in a very long time. That continues even now. The truth is Biden is really no different than Trump. He's just the different side of the same twisted coin.
So you're saying people of color just feel better. That's fine but nothing has changed, just the irrational fear is gone.No it’s not fair. You’re being lazy with an agenda. Look at what he has already done. You’re clearly ignoring his progress on purpose. You’re still being a Fox News sheep.

For our Divider-In-Chief, it’s all about the ratings
I’ll get to the rest of you all in a bit
