That's racist!

Dude anyone with a modicum of knowledge knows some of the many contributions by poc. I'll give you one that won World War II. Dr Charles Drew and blood transfusions.

Maybe I'm confusing you with the other crazier joeVol. Are you not the same person though?

His inventions and research might not have "won" the war, but it saved thousands of Allied lives that would have died in wars past.

There is no reason to laugh at the accomplishments of a black man that helped save all peoples' lives regardless of skin color. I would consider him one of the Greatest Generation for what he did. He might not have handled a rifle, but he certainly did his part for the war effort.

I know. Its funny how they want to try and warp history to fit a untrue narrative.

Well, they have a point that the accomplishments of their forefathers are often overlooked. Ask any infantry force who's more valuable, the gung-ho troop that charges the machine gun nest or the combat medic that keeps their ass alive when they get wounded. And Dr. Drew certainly helped in making sure lives were saved. It isn't what you said, it's the veiled racist and douchebag way you posted your response that is the issue.

There is nothing wrong with being proud of the accomplishments of the previous generations of black men and women. I, for one, consider what people like the Tuskegee Airmen and the 761st Tank Battalion went through and accomplished nothing short of miraculous. Fought and died for a country that wouldn't even allow them to serve with white (or Hispanic since we're on that POC conversation) counterparts. And did so with bravery and dignity. They earned the respect they get to this day.

Too bad this latest generation has forgotten that hard work and dedication equals respect. In a "Give me even though I didn't earn it!" world, they choose not to study the history of the past to shape their own lives in the future.

I think you are over-analyzing my :eek:lol: because that was solely geared at the idea that what the dude did somehow won the war. Its an ignorant ass statement used to try and elevate a contribution to grandiose levels.

And we all know who wins the wars...

The guys dropping the bombs.

I honestly did not know about Dr. Drew until you refused to answer the first time. I did a search and found a list that included him.

Perhaps next time you could post a rebuttal and expound on the reasons you take issue with what was said. Wars are fought as a team effort to include the black servicemen of years past that quietly toiled behind the scenes, forgotten and ignored.

Funny thing about those guys dropping the bombs. They served under the protection of Air Base Security Battalions early in the war. These were the early predecessors of modern day Security Forces in their role and mission of air base defense. Know who made up the vast majority of those units?

Black servicemen.

There is nothing anyone could say that would alleviate the ignorance from a person who posted what he did. Thus I laugh. Reminds me when someone very similiar to him tried to tell me Columbus was Spanish. I just :eek:lol:

Interesting note though on those security forces because that isn't the way it is today at all, at least in the Air Force. My interactions with other branches was always in the SOF field so that was pretty much all White guys with a few hispanics here and there. In fact in my 8 years I can only think of two black people who were even in my career field and thats 4 bases and 5 squadrons. But again, Air Force..higher standards and all :the_finger: :birgits_giggle: :salute:

Standards are looking pretty low from here.

not seeing an issue here. the lawsuit isn't against the name, its against false advertising. Halal means no pork, he ordered a halal pizza (that they advertised as no pork) and it actually did contain pork.

-- LC should never have advertised it though -- how will they prove it though ? Catering to these people is just asking for trouble

There are several historians that have credited the new blood transfusion technology we had access to as being the major factor in several decisive campaigns. We would have lost the war without the superior medical technology. There were other factors of course. That has been credited as one the things that we would have lost WWII without.

If the standards were so high in the AF they wouldn't let such an ignorant, uneducated coward like you in.

im not really trying to get in on this conversation, but many historians consider the outcome of ww2 to have been inevitable. the russians won the war with their own blood and we just helped ease the damage in occupied areas.

And took Japan out of the equation.

That is true in some aspects. But without American intervention the western front would have been lost which would have lost us the war. It may not have won us the war. We may well have lost without it though.

nazi germany was always doomed to fail.

the previous poster is right though, but in just considering the european side

Really maybe maybe not. We were already producing mass quantities of all types of war machines. We would have fought them back at our door step, but with many more mainland casualties.

Oh several historians said so? Well that must be gospel! Know what else helped win the war? M&M's. They boosted morale and kept the fighting spirit strong because they melted in your mouth and not in your hand! It's true, look it up! But I will concede you're right. Blood transfusions have always been the tip of the spear in our military and always always always the first order of business to sort out during mission planning. :whistling:

Ignorant uneducated coward. Interesting. I bet you got a Medal of Honor right? Bronze Star? Combat V? Basic training medal with silver oak leaf cluster? At least a good conduct medal right?? Regale me with your deeds of military heroism and scholastic achievement..:birgits_giggle: If you served I am going to guess Army and supply clerk, quarter master, or armory guy at the range. Am I close?
