You're a young guy, right? Injury related?
yeah. holding on to 27 for a little bit longer.
and yes, injury related. Tore my left ACL and meniscus, had surgery to fix it. That pain only comes occasionally, but when it hits I would be in the hospital if it was anywhere else. Hyper extended the crap out of my right probably tore something there but wasn't on insurance at the time so that is a lingering pain. Usually doesn't get extreme, but it will randomly give out on me. the knees are the worst, I will white out occasionally with the pain, but hurt a bunch of other stuff too.
Multiple sprains, strains, twists, and other damage to both ankles. Had to do physical therapy a couple time for them but never surgery. can't remember whats its called but I have tweaked some of the tendons/joints/whatever in the toes before.
most of them are sports injuries, but a couple were self inflicted.
Damn. Any plans to go in for additional work to help mitigate the pain? If you're in this much pain now I don't get the warm fuzzies over your 15 year outlook.
I have talked with an orthopedic. Basically damage is done. pain is permanent unless I get a total knee replacement. which he said not to do, and I agreed. either that or pain meds. I deal with the pain. honestly, most of the time I don't notice except for any spikes. If I sit and think about it I can tell an immediate difference between my knee and any other joint. right now the pain is "normal" so I don't notice and it doesn't effect my lifestyle. I do have and occasionally use a cane though if one of the knees acts up. but its rare enough where the people I work with always freak out when I bring it in "omg, you have a cane? Did you hurt something? Do you need to be at the hospital?"

Rooster Comb injections FTW.......You're welcome
Your ortho comments don't make a ton of sense to me. He says the damage is done......are we talking osteoarthritis here or still cartilage damage that could be cleaned up with scope?
