That's racist!

She looks African, not Nubian though. Perhaps a mix of Nubian African and Bedouin Arab?

Well the Nubians were a different ethnic group. They were Nilo-Saharan speaking people most similar to the present day people of South Sudan.

If you want the closest example for a modern human population that most closely resembles the people of Ancient Egypt then you have to go to East Africa. Even to this day some Cushitic speaking peoples of Somalia and Ethiopia have kept certain Ancient Egyptian traditional practices like hairstyles and dress.

Just look at this video and tell me they don't look like they just walked out of the hieroglyphs:

But we know they weren't. They were a mix of peoples uprooted from wide areas who settled in the area. A wide range of people ranging from lighter skinned near easterners from the north to Bedouin and Arab people, likely even some generational descendants from Kush. But they weren't "black".

The Ancient Egyptians were as black as the peoples of modern day Somalia and Ethiopia. They were not light skin or Arab. Now were there some foreigners who looked non-black living in Lower Egypt? Sure. But that's why I've consistently pointed out in this thread that Lower Egypt is not where the Ancient Egyptians came from. Everything we know about Ancient Egyptian civilization points to a southern origin then a spread to the north.

What's wild is even today if you travel to southern Egypt (where in ancient times the Pharoahs came from and the capital city of Thebes lay) you will see plenty of black Egyptians. I actually ran into one here in Nashville. Before talking to him I thought he was Ethiopian. That's the sort of look that is common in southern Egypt today even after centuries of invasions from the Persians, Greeks, Romans, and Arabs.

You want to talk evidence…

You trot out Homer’s Iliad, Greek Mythology, YouTube, and the Bible.

And a flawed study using outdated DNA techniques, that is subject to accusations that it actually suppressed evidence of R1b markers.

Oy Vey!

I posted images of how the Ancient Egyptians depicted themselves. You posted some guy guessing.

This is how the Pharoahs depicted themselves. Blame your eyes if they look too negroid for your liking.

Black people that went into Europe.

The African is the originator of every human race on this planet.
It's not as simple as that. It's hundreds of generations and slow creep into northern climates where lighter skin and different features were of benefit.

The common ancestor from a single woman in eastern Africa has been confirmed through genetic tracking though.

No it is that simple. Latest genetic research says that pale skin only emerged about 8,000 years ago. Europeans were dark-skinned until 8,000 years ago | Daily Mail Online

Europeans were black up until 6,000 BC. Pale skin is new to our species.

LOL. For the record here's King Tut's grandmother. Does she look Arab as well?

It's amazing how the truth can be staring yall in the face but you still deny it.
FACE TO BLACK FACE WITH KING TUT
King Tut's grandmother, Queen Tiye, is also said to have had Nubian origins, and her dark-faced busts appear to confirm this. Egyptologists, however, warn us that pharaonic art used color symbolically, noting that some faces are green, red, or yellow.

I was previously aware of this info but it doesn't challenge my statement at all. It didn't just happen out of the blue and a race of people just turned. There was a gradual (relative term I guess) toward "white" skin in northern climates. It didn't just start popping up. There was either a insane and unprecedented unexplained event or it was gradual, over hundred of generations.

I've also read that there is some question around what this info means and how valid the samples they've studied reflect on the larger population at that time. A lot still not completely understood.

I thought this whole discussion was supposedly about the race of Cleopatra? While it's been an interesting read to this point, and not that I really care, that was the original question.

Yall can get back to discussing Deshaun Tut now.
King Tut liked a good massage therapist just like Watson. They must be related because they share so much in common.

Queen Tiye was no Nubian. That's an excuse white Egyptologists use everytime they encounter unambiguously black features on Ancient Egyptian royalty. They throw out speculation of Nubian ancestry. The Ancient Egyptians were well-known for having inbred royalty thus negating any likelihood of them mixing with foreigners.

Queen Tiye was just an Egyptian. Her unambiguously black features are simply a reflection of how the Ancient Egyptians as a whole looked.

Mutations don't take generations to arise. They do pop up out of nowhere. It's only when the mutation helps the animal survive in the environment that it spreads across the population because those who have the best chance of survival are those that end up passing on their genes.

Then it’s weird how the rest of the world evolved and progressed at such greater rate.

How so when the earliest megalithic structures showing signs of advanced civilization (i.e. the Sphinx) are found in Africa? Here's geologist Dr. Robert Shoch on Joe Rogan talking about how the Sphinx is at least 10,000 years old:

Black Africans were building megalithic structures before anyone else on earth so I don't know how you can say the rest of the world progressed at a faster rate since our origin as a species.

Now if you're just limiting your argument to post 1600 AD then sure Africans have been left behind for the last 400 years or so. But that's only a small portion of our entire 200,000 year history as a species on this planet.

I watch Joe Rogan all the time. They also say aliens may have been involved.

That wasn’t my point. If humans came from a certain area shouldn’t technological advancements begin there first instead of virtually everywhere else in the world? Why was the birthplace of humanity basically going backwards?

I would say, technological advancement really isn’t the best thing for humanity. Yes of course it makes or lives easier but wouldn’t people be better off if there wasn’t nuclear bombs pointed at every one. We’ve traded our humanity for technology as each generation becomes more reliant on technology.

So you're telling me you can't separate speculation from hard scientific evidence? This geologist isn't speculating about the age of the Sphinx. He applied his scientific knowledge as a geologist to identify that the erosion around the Sphnix enclosure was due to precipitation. The last time there was significant enough rainfall in Egypt to cause water erosion was 10,000 years ago. That's how he got to his point.

The great thing about Joe Rogan's show is he brings serious scientists on who give viewers actual information while also entertaining us with some speculation. An intelligent person can separate the speculation from the hard-core scientific data.

I just showed you how technological advancement did start in Africa. While the rest of the world were hunter gatherers Africans in Ancient Egypt created the greatest civilization on earth. What you're assuming is that because in today's world Africa lags behind that means they've always been behind when in reality the historical record says the opposite. That for most of human history Africans were at the forefront of human civilization.

Times change. There was a time when Italy was the greatest nation on earth during the Roman era. Just because Rome is no longer the world's preeminent superpower doesn't mean Ancient Rome didn't exist. Similarly, there was a time when Africans were the leaders of human civilization. Just because they're no longer at the forefront doesn't mean their accomplishments never happened.
