That's racist!

Al Sharpton's racial incitement back on full display in subway case

Booker T. Washington vs. the Race-Baiters a Century Ago
“There is another class of coloured people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs, and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Having learned that they are able to make a living out of their troubles, they have grown into the settled habit of advertising their wrongs — partly because they want sympathy and partly because it pays. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs.”

“I am afraid that there is a certain class of race-problem solvers who don’t want the patient to get well, because as long as the disease holds out they have not only an easy means of making a living, but also an easy medium through which to make themselves prominent before the public.

Clearly that policy was not done by conservatives so my question is:

Who's really the racist here?

Racism is by and large assumed to be an instrument of white people.

Funny things is, in this years long thread, that really isn’t what we are seeing.

Anyone who points out that racism is not often times not white on black is doing a service to the public. Our MSM does not do a good job of this

Lies? You’re one to talk.

I posted “eye witness” evidence that lines up directly with the DNA evidence.

You can’t refute the DNA evidence, so you quibble about the eye witness testimony.

And “eye witness testimony” is all you can put forward.
Your DNA “study” is highly questionable, for multiple reasons - and they are actively suppressing the full data set.

You posted pictures of mummies from the Greek and Roman era and tried to pass it off as Ancient Egyptian. That was an outright lie on your part. The Greeks and Romans ruled Egypt nearly 3000 years after the pyramids were built. They had nothing to do with Ancient Egyptian civilization and you know it.

You discount an article about Egyptian lineage because it is “from Egypt”.

Not surprising in the least.

It's not a scientific article. That's the main point. I posted actual scientific data when I posted the article about King Tut and his families DNA results.

If you're gonna push DNA studies at least keep them scientific like that 2017 study so we can actually discuss the findings rather than dealing with unsubstantiated articles.

No, if you look it starts just about the crown of the head/helmet and continues to the back.

And those features aren't just an African feature, they are also very common in South American and Asian people as well.

I never said it wasn't possible, quite the opposite actually. I said it's just as likely, maybe moreso, that are were South American or possibly Asian.

The fact you aren't able to consider any possiblity but everything being African tells me you're the one with the agenda..... And therefore projecting on me..

Wide noses and full lips are not common in South America or Asia. Stop lying. Obviously there are some outliers. But wide noses and full lips are only common in Sub-Saharan African population. You know it. And I know it. So stop lying.

Please quit with all the everything is African crap. It's past old..... Just as bad as those who deny anything good came from Africa..... You and they are no different.

The difference is I have the facts on my side. I'm not the one who told the Ancient Greeks to give black Africans credit for creating civilization. I'm not the one who dug up the Olmec heads and wrote about how they looked like they were Negroes. These were white scholars who did it. I'm also not the one who told the writers of the Bible to say Egypt was the son of Ham (father of the black race) and brother of Cush (biblical name for Nubia).

If you study ancient history all you see is the great accomplishments of the black race. And primarily the people writing this were white. Be mad at reality for being so African centric in ancient times not me.

So just to sum up for those scoring at home -

Ancient Egyptians… were black
Ancient Hebrews… were black
Ancient Americans… were black

That about cover it @Dobbs 4 Heisman ? Or is there more to add?

The Ancient Greeks and Romans said the Ancient Egyptians were black. Not me.

The Bible said Egypt and Nubia were siblings and sons of Ham. Not me.

The Bible said Jews like Moses and Joseph were mistaken as Egyptians. Not me.

The scientists who discovered the oldest human remains in the Americas are the ones who said the fossil looked negroid. Not me. LUZIA: America’s OLDEST Skeleton is a “Black” WOMAN

I'm not the one making these claims. I'm simply reporting facts.

Again, my knowledge of this topic is severely limited, but I am pretty decent at math. Wasn't the whole discussion focused around Cleopatra which was alive roughly 2500 years after the pyramids were built?

If Africans were such great people and innovators, WTF happened to them?

It's bad enough he's tried dropping the African-Olmec stuff back in 2016's The Problem of Whiteness thread. Of course he apparently hasn't been keeping up.

The oldest human remains in the Americas are that of a Black woman. LUZIA: America’s OLDEST Skeleton is a “Black” WOMAN

Yall can twist yourself into a pretzel all you want but the facts are what they are. The initial population on every continent of this planet was originally black.

So that’s a “Yes” then. If you’re just reporting “facts”.

Ancient Egyptians, Hebrews, & Americans… all were black.

You are a pathetically ignorant fool, unworthy of serious discussion. You deserve nothing but mocking condescension.

You know how these threads go. We start with one topic and then it turns into another. You are correct that originally we were discussing the racial background of Cleopatra. And I even admitted that she was potentially fully Greek. What I postulated was the possibility she was mixed since her mother was unknown. Some posters then responded to that by arguing even if she was mixed the Egyptians she would have mixed with were non-black themselves thus making the Netflix documentary inaccurate. And then that's what has triggered our current debate which is about Ancient Egyptian civilization as a whole and whether the Ancient Egyptians were black.

Our current argument has long since passed Cleopatra. We're currently arguing about Ancient Egyptians as a whole. That's why I pointed out the pictures he's posted versus the ones I've posted. I've been posting pictures of Pharoahs from the Old and New Kingdom. Times where every historian agrees Ancient Egypt was ruled by native Egyptians. While he posted pictures of mummies from the Ptolemaic and Roman era. Times where every historian agrees Egypt was ruled by foreign powers. That's why I said his posts were misleading. It tricks the unaware reader into thinking those pale Caucasian looking people he posted were representative of the Ancient Egyptians when in reality they were descended from Greeks and Romans who ruled Egypt at that time.

The Huffington Post article is in reference to actual scientific studies. The new face of Luzia and the Lagoa Santa people

I know you love recreations using DNA studies. Well here's how scientists believe the first Americans looked:

You obviously don't know many Asians, it's common. I know people that resemble that statue. It's common in a few different cultures.

Please post GROUP photos of Asians (as in more than one individual) showing that wide noses and thick lips are common. I can post pictures of individual East Africans with thin lips and straight hair. But to pass straight hair and thin lips as being common to Africans (even East Africans) would be a lie.

Outliers exist. That doesn't make it the norm.

Classic D4H. Had literally nothing to address the Olmec problem and had to divert to a whole different location and subject matter? (Luzia in Brazil)

First let's just put out an example of how much credibility that Olmec thing holds in academia.

Journal retracts paper claiming that group of Indigenous Americans were Black Africans

Then watch this. (or just skip ahead to the 5:30 mark where they address the hangups of people with racial bias)

Edit: Some even more recent study.

I brought up Luzia woman as supporting evidence to the Olmecs beings black. It wasn't to change the subject as you allege. The reality is the Olmecs only left those heads behind. By themselves your argument that they weren’t black might be valid. But once you add onto that the fact the earliest human remains in the Americas are that of a Black woman then we have more evidence to support the contention the Olmecs were black. Because if there were other black populations in the Americas then it makes the Olmecs being black more likely.

I also like how you ignored this study: The new face of Luzia and the Lagoa Santa people

Here's how scientists believe the first humans in the Americas looked:

Whether they were from Africa or not is irrelevant. The key point is they LOOKED black. They had dark skin and "negroid" features. Just like how the people of Papau New Guinea have "negroid" features despite being genetically most closely related to East Asians.
