If true and I have no reason to doubt that..it's strange indeed..why don't they break away from the NBA..by those numbers it should be possible. The league pulled in $200m and paid $18m to players. They are so incredibly full of **** that they are not making money. NBA players get 50% of revenue. 50%! Show me the 200m business primarily built on labor that pays its labor 9% of revenue and doesn't make $. They are not giving us a complete picture. Why would valuations of teams be soaring?
Let's be real, the Pistons just got worse as they got older and the Bulls aged into their primes. It's a good narrative that MJ bulked up to match their toughness, but the truth is he became a better jump shooter and they didn't have answers for that. She's going to bulk up like Jordan did to get past the Pistons.
Does that matter given they won back to back titles and went to 3 straight championships...I get what your saying just seems like you just don't like the Pistons which is fine.Let's be real, the Pistons just got worse as they got older and the Bulls aged into their primes. The Pistons are the most overrated team of all time. They won the east before the Bulls were great and after Larry Bird's back was ****ed. One of their finals wins was against the Lakers without Magic and Kareem was old as dirt. No team gets undeservedly talked about more than the Pistons. And Jordan gets way too much praise for beating them. If you go look at the playoff series against good wings, they were all cooking the Pistons. It wasn't just Jordan. Dumars was short and Zeke was a bad defender. If you're 6' 6" MJ, they don't have answers for you. Jeff Malone put up 26 ppg against them in 1988 playoffs. Ricky Pierce did 22 PPG in 1989. Young Reggie did 21 ppg in 1990. Drexler did 26 ppg in 1990. They were not good at guarding the perimeter.
