I just walked in and my jaw dropped. He hit 17 GIR yesterday and 15 today, incredible. This is a tough, tough golf course. Kind of reminds me of Tiger in 2000 at Peeble Beach, that was a clinic.

I'm not normally big on watching golf outside of major Sunday's, but this was must see tv. Rory was tearing ish apart.

A kid from my town is tied for 16th. Russell Henley is 21 years old and in the past 12 months he's tied for low amateur at the US Open last year, won a Nationwide event and qualified his way back into another Open.

Sergio infuriates me, because I think he's got as much natural ability as anyone in the world, hits irons further than anyone (all that lag!), drives it well, and could win a whole bunch of majors if he had half the dedication and discipline of Tiger or Vijay. What a waste.

Wow. Just incredible play by Rory. He certainly gets through the ball, doesn't he? I also like how he wastes no time putting - once he lines it up and gets in his stance, he pulls the trigger, no hesitation.

It is hard to understate what Rory is doing. He has been absolutely dominant in 6 of the 7 rounds of the last two majors.

The question was posed earlier on Golf Channel: Woods 2000 v McIlroy 2011 - who ya got? I think Woods 2000 would take him.

What the EFFFFF???

Did anyone else notice during the intro on NBC, they had little kids saying the "Pledge of Allegiance." It was really nice looking, they showed soldiers raising the flag.

When it came time to say the phrase "one nation, under god" they cut away and when it came back all they said was "with liberty and justice for all." Completely omitting "under God."

They then proceeded to have the children recite it again, and again they omitted "under God."

This really irritates me. Why the eff are they changing the pledge of allegiance to fit their garbage liberal agenda?
