The 2008 Big Boy Predictions NFL Style

All this love for JAX is ridiculous. I see it everywhere in the media. Big losses on the D and an injury prone RB corp. And saying Colts will be terrible against the run is so 3 years ago.

Over the last six seasons, Fred Taylor has missed only eight games. In his only two NFL seasons Jones-Drew has missed one game. Greg Jones did not play in two games so far in his three year career.

How exactly does that qualify as an "injury prone RB corp?"

As for their defense, in the spots where they did lose people they have others coming in who are entirely capable. Quinton Groves may very well be the next big rookie DE.

They have one of the most efficient quarterbacks in the league who will not turn the ball over.

The receiving corp just added Jerry Porter and Troy Williamson (who may or may not benefit from the change of scenery, but it doesn't really matter because Jax didn't have great receivers last year)

So what's your issue with the Jaguars love outside of the fact that you are a Colts homer?

Well if that preseason game against Atlanta the other night is any indication toward the Colts run defense, then well, I feel sorry for them.

Afc South Champs: Indy 12-4
Afc East: NE-14-2
AFC West: SD 11-5
Afc North: cleveland 11-5

Wildcards: Jacksonville im most confident about, Denver, NYJets,& Pittsburgh will duke it out....Pitt has the better squad but a bitch of a schedule.

NFC East: Cowboys 11-5
NFC North: Packers 12-4
NFC South: Tampa 10-6 ...I wouldnt be surpised if there was a three way tie for the division
NFC West: Arizona 9-7

wild card: Saints, Redskins

Giants miss the playoffs
Atlanta doesnt win a single game
Jake Delhomme gets sidelined for the year, im really stepping out on the limb with that one
Marvin Lewis will be fired & Tony Dungy will retire.
Romeo Crennel will win coach of the year.
Lovie Smith's job is in jeopardy The Bears start off 0-4

How is it that Minnesota doesn't even get a wildcard in your scenario and the Pack win the division?

It will be close but, I dont like the QB situation in Minnesota, Green Bay's defense is a muth@f*cka, they have playmakers all over the field on offense and a good offensive line.

They could get a wildcard if they're run defense gets significantly better and Tavaris Jackson has a break out year. But I see the Eagles, Saints, Panthers & Giants having better football teams

Um, weren't they #1 against the run last year. Can't get much better than that. Now, their pass defense is another story. They gave up the most yards last year but that is skewed by the fact that their run defense was that good.

As for Jackson, I think it will be more a case of him just "managing the game". As much as I hate that phrase, I do believe that he will be asked to just not lose games for them.

Based on that preseason game, they're gonna need to keep Jackson from getting hurt as well
