When was the last time anyone gave serious consideration to the lions, saints, cardinals, bills, raiders, browns, texans or chiefs winning a Super Bowl. There's no more parity in the NFL than MLB.

lions and texans really are the only ones there...lions maybe when sanders was still there, and the texans will probably get their first "go to the postseason hype" next year. The browns really should fit into this category too, but they got that hype at the beginning of this season
The cardinals, well just look at this year.
The bills, look at the first half of this season and then they went to 4 super bowls (lost all of them) in the early 90s and made it to the playoffs at the end of the 90s
The saints were thought to be the best in the nfc a few times now and made it to that nfc championship a while back.
And oakland, they were great in the early part of 2000 till a year or two after gruden, lost to baltimore in the conference championship many thought they would win and then made it to the super bowl.
Not all teams become world beaters regularly but they do alternate on and off between who makes the post season, wins the division, wins the super bowl, etc. in the modern salary cap era. Even look at the colts and the pats - those teams were terrible all through the 90s and didnt become the top dogs till around 01-02
anyways, i'm off to the movies for the night. peace out.
