The 2009 Players' Championship

By the way....

I really don't like these guys wearing sunglasses all the way through the round. I want to see the gears turn. I want to see their eyes...

Either way, his driver problems are more about the swing and timing than the equipment.

To this I just again repeat the fact that he's not been able to hit any of the big drivers regardless of who his teacher was.

I don't buy it at all. He has never hit the longer shaft very well, but went to it when he got crooked even with the old head and shorter shafts.

My brother-in-law theorized that at one point Tiger was playing a plain Pro V1 ball with a Nike logo later printed on.

mine are prescription, so I play in them even in the clouds and at dusk.
I'm in the exact same boat. I switched to a brown lense specifically so I could wear them all the time. Plus, I move my head off the ball just enough that I can't play in regular glasses without it driving me nuts. I have to play in wrap around sunglasses.

Mine are damn near the exact same. Brown lens wraps that I get from some outfit out of Georgia. Lot of people don't like a heavily curved lens, but these guys did it for me on a couple of pairs of Bolle frames.

i play in sunglasses too. i have sensitive eyes anyway, so i hate to get caught out in the sun without my shades. nothing like getting a severe headache to ruin my round, from the sun and not from my game. plus, if they're on top of my hat, they inevitably fall off after every swing.

No offense, but you guys aren't on national TV with your name on your bag. I don't care whether you wear the shades or not.

These guys are hiding from the camera in my opinion. I don't like it.

The PGA says you can't wear shorts. They should say you can't hide your eyes.

what if they wear them for the same reason? I have astigmatism in my eyes and I'm nearsighted. Contacts have come a long way, but I'm still not 20/20 with them. I've yet to find a pair of sunglasses I can afford/feel comfortable with on the golf course, so a lot of times if I'm looking towards the sun, I lose track of the ball in flight.

The lenses don't have to be the kind you can't see through... Kevin Na was wearing shades, but you could still see his eyes.

i think you're just getting picky and whiny. I can tell all I need to know about a player's nerves by watching his golf swings. Especially his practice swings.
