Not a bad little bunch. Dee Gordon has been tabbed the most 'athletic' of all the middle infield prospect.

Bumgarner and Matzek could both be top of the line, real live arms.

Penciled in to be the No.3 in the rotation, Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Brandon Webb worked on regaining his velocity back. The pitcher was out for all of last season except for his Opening Day start.
Targeting a late April start

Rockies closer Hutson Street on the 15 day. Candidates to fill the spot are Franklin Morales and Manual Corpas.

On the heels of the Upton deal, the DBacks extended the contract of 3B Mark Reynolds good through 2012, with a club option in '13.

The 36th best prospect in Baseball America's 2010 TOP 100 prospects. Played in the Futures Game for the USA team. Seems to show a great amount of promise as he posted excellent numbers. Shows great stuff, including his best tool: the slider ,and a fluid delivery. Will be out for the entire season due to Tommy John surgery but is still highly regarded.

Should set up a happy ending for Cox.

What was Torre thinking when he named Padilla as the Opening Day starter?

I really don't know. I thought Torre would go with Clayton Kershaw or at least Billingsley or Kuroda.

There are a lot of question marks for this team. They didn't do anything (because of the divorce) to improve the team this off season. My only hope is that Manny plays hard for another contract (somewhere else) and that Rafael Furcal is 100 percent after playing injured last season.

I think the biggest mistake they made was letting Juan Pierre go. He added so much to the team with his speed and hitting.

I thought Manny might call it a career after this season.
