I was happy to see Manny go deep yesterday. It's not often I get to see the Dodgers on MLB Network during the day.

DBacks LF Connor Jackson can't seem to get it going as he was put on the 15 day DL due to a left hammy strain.

Dodgers SS Rafael Furcal has been on the 15 day DL with a tight hammy. He is nearing his return to the lineup by late next week based on his progress. He is a cog in the lineup with his speed and what gets the team rolling offensively.

The Rockies decided Franklin Morales was not the suitable fill-in for Hutson Street so it is on to Manuel Corpas.

Rockies closer Hutson Street had a setback in a rehab stint so he will be out longer then expected.

Present triple crown leader, Dodgers OF Andre Ethier, has a thumb problem so he is on the DL.

Padres SP Chris Young recovery from his shoulder injury has been put off. So don't be surprised if he does not come back for the rest of the season.

Something had to be wrong with Dodgers starter Chad Billingsley that he was placed on the 15.

Lets go Padres. If Latos comes back well rested and our bullpen can keep it up it, we could see Padres vs Cardinals for the NL pennant.
