Never said that...but you didn’t need me to. Rough one but as I’ve always maintained, IF Trubisky ends up a franchise QB the trade was worth it.

Looked like Matt Stafford in crunch time. Hope if he does earn franchise QB status that he’s better quality than that.

And Mahomes and all the assets that they gave up for Trubisky (which included the pick that was used on Kamara).

To be fair to MT, it's one game. He had a good year last year. He's also still green. I've yet to see him consistently make 2nd and 3rd reads or thrive when they go off script with the planned first 20 plays but the tools are all there. He made some good throws and there was a lot of defensive pressure.

It’s going to cost them a chance to go to multiple Super Bowls. It’s an absolutely horrible pick considering the two QB’s that were taken after him (not considering what they gave up either).

And Trubisky is average at best. He’s in year 3 but you can see how much Nagy has to protect him (which Nagy did great at). He’s not going to win you games. He averaged 200 yards per game (and completely 67% of his passes!) and threw a pick for every 2 TD’s. And he was awful tonight. Guy can’t make multiple reads. That team is really good except at QB.

Revisionist drafting. Wouldn’t go back and change it. Not the same as the original draft. Try not to get so agitated over fantasy material...Lions still have to play. 😏

Two third round picks and a fourth spread out over two drafts ain’t costing nobody ****. Spending a first on WR’s every year for a decade to end up with ONE generational piece that you don’t surround with talent is a way to cement your Lions as the joke franchise of the NFL. Fact that you did that twice with both Barry Sanders AND Calvin Johnson is an added comedic HOF footnote. Do me a favor, Leo, don’t FIX my franchise. 😎

Saying that if you have the chance to go back and take Deshaun Watson instead of Trubisky and saying you wouldn’t change anything is saying you think Trubisky is better lol

You didn’t read that correctly. Drafting Mitchell Trubisky over Deshaun Watson and Patrick Mahomes is going to cost you a chance to win Super Bowls

You keep bringing up the Lions but nobody is talking about the Lions. I’m talking about the Bears screwing up the QB position.

Don’t do fantasy. I’m real life. I wouldn’t go back and change anything and I don’t think Trubisky is better...right now. Don’t think Eli Manning is better than Phillip Rivers...quite the opposite. Wouldn’t go back and change that trade if I was a Giants fan.
