I think he’s said that he was upset that Guthridge recruited Curry and Adam Boone over him(lmao), but he wanted to go to UNC . Jason just likes the drama and clicks I think. He said something dumb on twitter once and then claimed his account was hacked, which was BS.

JamesOn Curry had some talent. Adam Boone did not. Not sure why either would have been preferable over Williams though.

Edit: Or are we talking Ronald Curry? He had crazy talent and athleticism, just couldn’t shoot. Had a solid NFL career going until he tore up his knee.

The three is the great equalizer when they were hitting them like that. Now,they have 3 losses against Arkansas, Georgia Tech and now Pittsburgh that make you scratch your head. However, I think Scheyer should get them on the same page with Carolina coming up in a couple of weeks.

Those are the losses that will bite you at the end of the year. Last night could be the difference between playing in Los Angeles bracket as a 4 seed or the Dallas or Boston bracket as a 2 or 3. I know Roach and Mitchell were out, but there was some bad basketball played. This team has a much lower ceiling than I thought it would before the season.

I missed yesterday's Duke game, but it sounds like they have a lower floor than expected too.

There’s something about this team that doesn’t sit right. Last year you could see things trending The right way . A close loss to an experienced UVA team here and a road loss there was to be expected, but they were getting an identity. Not this season. I don’t see how this team improved. They spend far too much time dribbling the basketball and then settling for poor shots. The defense has regressed w/o Lively , because they have no rim protector and Flip is a walking foul before the under 12 timeout. This team could easily be a first weekend team unless they get their stuff together.

They definitely don’t seem to be as good as advertised (and I’m back on my rant of Flip not understanding/caring about team basketball), but I’m not ready to freak out yet. There were 7-8 threes Pitt hit that had no business going in. Take even half of those away and Duke wins. Not just literally, but it seemed every time Duke made a run, one of those threes fell. Would’ve been a different game if they weren’t all falling

I will say that I missed a good part of the game last night. Some of what I did see did bother me. The end of game situation where that review lasted 20 minutes and then Duke had the ball and then took a contested 23 footer from the elbow was awful. Go to the damn basket. Force a foul or get a layup. Basketball 101. Flip’s #s are good, but his shot selection is concerning.

Bacot has been Bacot, RJ has really blossomed, and Hubert trusts his roster much more than he has previously. Ingram has found his niche playing the 4 and Withers/Trimble/Washington have been awesome in their roles coming off the bench. They’re winning more right now with their defense which is just something you don’t usually associate with Carolina basketball.

Based on the dumpster fire of last season, I don't see that becoming an issue. Even tonight, shots weren't falling early but they locked them down defensively. Late, when the game was at hand, no freebies were allowed.

They are locking teams down which is something we haven’t said about a UNC team in a long time

I'm SO glad we unloaded Caleb Love. Early in the season, he was largely deferring to other players on Arizona's roster. Now, he's their leading scoring. However, he's shooting a much lower percentage from the field and from 3-point range than most of their other guys, and they're dropping a number of games to inferior competition.

I forgot that I could change it haha 😄 I had a little fun with the Duke fans with the new one. Looks like Carolina is struggling early in the second half against Florida St. I was a little worried about this game,but hopefully they pull away later. Bacot needs to become more involved with the offense and crashing the boards. Davis will get his. Also,the bench needs to step up.
