i never said i was anti-jones. all i have been saying is show it on the field and shut up with the rah rah rah crap. i also just stated what the article said. i didn't say i wanted him to fail, never have. i want us to win 9 of the next 10 national titles.

Who do you want the other one to go to?

Soooo....... you don't want them to win 10? You want them to fail one year? Wth is wrong with you? (Sarcasm). By the way, tough to show it on the field at this point.... haven't even had spring practice yet. And I can turn this back on you. Why don't you stop with all the hate CBJ crap and let him show that he sucks, on the field?

Yeah, my tone with that last statement to you was a bit harsh and quite unintended.

Could have been worded better.

Sorry.

I take absolutely nothing seriously on here, including my handle.

Think it's hilarious how many people got worked up pro and anti Gruden.

Just like the OP is anti Jones and talking buyout before he coaches a game for the Vols.

I understand man. I see where you get a lot of grief over your screen name. I don't necessarily always agree with your opinions (although a lot of times i do), but I find that your posts are pretty good reads and full of sarcasm. The sarcasm gets lost on a lot of people as does mine.

I like sarcasm. Both of you guys are good at it, hence a lot of good reads. Keep em coming.

Tennessee if it were to give butch jones the boot in 2015 would give him a going away gift of $6,000,000. $1,000,000 than dooley got. thought this is interesting. how stupid can we be to even think of giving that kind of money away if he were to fail???

Loser!!!!!!

i have no agenda you people are trying to make it one, i just posted the article and what was said in it because i thought it's stupid to pay that kind of money to a coach if he fails. we have enough money problems at Tennessee but i guess some of you can't see that.

No agenda yet everything you post is negative. Riiiiiight

Will do.

Just not much to talk about at this point in the season other than Vols basketball.

Also starting up some other side projects for work which has kept me busy the past few weeks.

I like basketball and I'll watch 'em, but football is my first priority.

No matter how things shake out on the NCAA tournament, Cuonzo has gained back some respect from me for the turnaround.

You and Biker take care.

Agree, there should be no reward for failure . If college football is a business coaches compensation should be performance based. Given the financial condition of the UTAD this contract does appear ludicrous. :twocents:
