The trend of 250 yard par threes is just dumb. No creativity. Just stupid.

It sucks, but you just about can't make them hit long irons any more. Hell, BWatson is hitting like a 4 iron from 250 if it's warm out.

Brandel is pretty much spot on ripping Tiger's decisions. His advice to him was excellent, sans hiring Haney back.

Chamblee is a sharp cat. He knows some golf swing.

Yes he does. It's amazing to me that Tiger has tinkered as much as he has. Screw the crap that went on his personal life. Foley is a joke. But I'm convinced most of the damage was done by Haney.

Swing was money under Butch and was the only time he wad ever a great driver of the ball. His distance control was impeccable and his wedge play was tops - all with that shorter swing, playing the cut and that slightly outside takeaway. Haney swing was hideous. Current swing actually looks better.

Does look better than the Haney swing. Doesn't take much to accomplish that though. Saw the rundown of the swing yesterday. Still a boatload of vertical action and spine angle appeared to change 47 times.

This. If tour pros have to break out the driver to make the green, it's not a par 3.

how many of them have really had to go to driver?

i haven't watched every shot on the hole, but i'd say the number of guys who pulled the driver is close to zero.

May have been some sarcasm in the driver comment but you can bet there have been some 3 woods hit.

Yeah. They need to figure something out. Its just dumb 260 with water and no bail out.

Pulling for Stricker or Verplank to bring home the trophy tommorrow, nothing against Duffner, I'd just rather see one of the two classy veterans win it, been a fan of both for a long time now.

With you on Stricker/Verplank. If the leaders stumble early, this thing could really be a shootout. Lot of good players -1 to -2 range.

I think you are actually going to catch a little bit of a break today. The high isn't supposed to be much above 90.

When the sun goes behind the clouds it's really nice. Especially with the breeze.

Going to catch Bubba on 10 and walk the back 9 with him.

Good thing we dropped DL3 for lunch. His back 9 looked awful.

Fowler and McIlroy are like 3 feet tall.

I'm always amazed how these guys just walk around in the crowd.

Dude is cooking it today. That should be fun.
