LK has been gone for more than a week, but that doesn't mean Tennessee fans are eager to forgive and forget his short tenure with the Volunteers. Drew McElroy is seeking to have the city's waste water treatment plant named the "L K Sewage Center," according to a story by WBIR-TV in Knoxville.


"It dawned on me - L K told us that he hoped the fans would understand. I thought 'Well, naming the wastewater plant for him would let him know, I think very clearly, we do understand,'" McElroy, an attorney in Knoxville, said.

McElroy says he wrote the $262 check for the application fee and mailed it to the city council's clerk last week. On the application, he says he wanted "to honor our recently departed head coach and raise awareness of the good work done by the Knoxville Utilities Board."

Both the University of Tennessee and the Knoxville Utilities Board had no official comment on the proposed name change. The Public Property naming committee only meets a few times each year. Members say they're not certain when they'll take up the renaming issue.

Actually, no. I wouldn't have a mobile.

I'd have one of those platforms with those long poles and an orange throne on top.

I'd then hire a team of people to carry me around, while sitting atop it. But given the fact that I splurged on Belichick, I'd need to make sure to hire the cheapest possible labor.

Oh, and the photos I have on my site --yep, one of them has floated around for a while, but I was the first one to put a date on it - April 3, and no one else has the second photo on my site, which was taken that same night at Hanna's. Yes, there is a lot of info I CANNOT post yet until I have confirmed it, and yes, I follow this board hoping to locate someone with info. Lexus of Knoxville would not confirm anything about the crash until I posted it on my site, THEN they issued a statement. TMZ couldn't even get them to confirm anything.

Tiffany Carpenter, spokesperson for UTAD, said that the first accident happened in August, "on the 11th or 12th day of fall camp", FWIW.

The second accident occurred last week during the snowstorm. It's been confirmed by both WATE-TV6 and Tiffany Carpenter. The only thing that's curious about that one is that it was admitted that an unnamed driver was at the wheel at the time of the wreck.

Sumr - check about 10-20 posts back in regards to the owners of the dealership living in the same subdivision as X....and would have likely driven right by both his house to leave it....on the same road where the accident has been confirmed to have occurred. I'm sure that this is a completely meaningless facts which should be dismissed as coincidental. Likely, the press release was all that they know about the accident, and that's why they have no further comment.
