Look, imp, these are not people who are easily misidentified.
The White family is an institution in Knoxville, and their son, Doug White owns both Toyota and Lexus of Knoxville - two of the newest and largest dealerships in Knoxville, and which are located immediately adjacent to one another. Doug runs the Toyota dealership, and his brother Andy is the GM at Lexus. Yeah, that's the same, "Andy White" from the press release. Is it possible that I've somehow mistaken these people for others with a similiarly common name? Sure, there could be multiple people with the last name White in Knoxville, and could there even be more than one with the first name of Andy or Doug? Without a doubt.
However, in order to mistake these guys for someone....the Andy would need to manage a Lexus dealership.....in Knoxville.....and he'd also need a brother named Doug......who just so happens to also own the Lexus dealership which his brother Andy manages....and who himself runs the Toyota dealership.
So, now, Arianna, do you still think that they've been confused with someone else? No? Good, because neither does anyone else.
Insofar as knowing where they live, first, I know several people in that area, and even in that subdivision. Just a quick heads up here, but anytime the head football coach at Tennessee moves into your friends subdivision, it tends to come up in conversation. So do things like, "Yeah that guy's family owns Lexus...the owner lives down the street." I know, pretty surprising stuff here. You must be amazed at my investigative skills.
If you really want verifiable proof, check out this link:
Property Tax Search - Trustee - Knox County Tennessee - A Great American Community
It's the Knox County Property Assessor's Office, where you can search any house in Knoxville - by name, address, street, etc. It will tell you (at the speed of the internet itself) who owns it, how much it was last valued at, which lot belongs to whom, so on and so forth.
Guess what crack James Bond stuff I did when I ran their names through this site?!?! The ol' Bat computer down at City Hall whirred to life and spit out the super-secret information that only career assassins such as myself can obtain the necessary information to bring X's lies into the light of day. Well, career assassins can access it, or anyone with an internet connection. But no one else!
Look, those dealerships have supplied the cars to the UTAD for the previous 15 years, its likely safe to assume that they may be connected to the UTAD....and its coaches......including X. It's also likely to assume that given their close proximity to the program, it would be in their own best interests to prevent it from being embarassed, or for any undue attention to come upon it. However, I do not even mean to imply that they would or have actually taken action to protect the interests of either the UTAD or its coaches. Instead, I've merely shown where their interests appear to be somewhat intertwined, and that protecting one another would likely be to their mutual advantage.
So, that's all I am saying. It's just something to consider.
I appreciate the props you've extended to me, and the perception you have of my super-sleuth skills.....but they're not exactly making any of this stuff difficult to piece together. Anytime someone issues a press release as a means to stop or subdue the media's incessant calling and questioning, you should start paying attention. And then, when they issue a press release to address the specific incident which has sparked such interest - but then leave all of the basic and most pertinent information out of that release - people start looking for those answers, themselves.
Trust me, some random dude on a message board is the least, and I mean the
very least of both your and X's concerns. There are a lot more people who are far more intelligent and experiened than I - and who get paid an incredibly higher amount of money - to figure these things out for all of us. And that's who you need to be arguing with, because that's who's going to truly ram this thing down your now blissfully ignorant throat.
Look - I appreciate that you don't want these things to be true, but unfortunately, that does not in fact make them untrue. And the truly bad news is that this is just the very tip of the iceberg. If and when it all comes out, you'll see these wrecks as being wholly insignificant in comparison to those other things (which I have no idea if they are true or not, I just hear random tidbits via hearsay) which will come out.
Let's just say that X might be a much better fit for Cali than anyone could have possibly known. I'd say that the farther north he goes, the more at home he'll feel.
