Hey, I have to find something.

I'm a Mets fan; at least Citi Field has better food than Yankee Stadium.
At least the Vols have a more interesting home schedule than the Cats.

Saw a tweet from some sportswriter earlier today that SUPPOSEDLY Wiggins' mother would be heading up to WV within the next week or so in advance of an announcement.

In a stunning turn of events, Wiggins to Louisville, causing the entire state of Kentucky to spontaneously combust.

It wouldn't be a complete shock, and there are some predicting it, but I thought Wiggins was pretty dead set on his final 4 choices...

Your chain = yanked. Don't worry, we all get it yanked at some point. Okay, now comes obligatory sexual reference.

Yeah, must be in or around that May 15 deadline (not that it really matters). Unfortunately, Regulator, I've felt like UNC has been on the outside-looking-in this entire time, although rumors (and that's the keyword) have been more favorable to us here the last week or two. In the end, I think it comes down to one of the other three schools, and although I've heard conflicting comments about how he gets along with UK's incoming class, I have favored them all along. Just a horseshoe up there with recruiting at the moment.

If he doesn't end up at UK, I hope he suddenly wants to play point guard since UT now has an opening (more like gaping hole) there, lol.

Kansas

remember who told you

I'd be a nice early Christmas present. If I were Wiggins, I would want to play with Tharpe and Ellis. Tharpe is incredibly quick and great at penetrating and dishing; Ellis solidified himself as a good low post player toward the end of the season. Wiggins would get a lot of good looks at KU.

However, if it is true that Wiggins wants to shy away from being "the superstar", then KU can't actually be in the mix (neither can FSU), and the choices are UK or UNC.

Kentucky has the best chance to win the national title and is stacked with talent to help boost his on-court performance. So, yea, he'd be stupid to play for a reloading team like Kansas or an Elite 8 squad like North Carolina.

If the only thing he is considering is whether or not he will win a national championship, then UK or UNC are probably his best choices. If he is also considering how much attention he will get from the coaches, how much guidance he will get from more veteran players, how many opportunities he will have in games, etc., then UK may be the last place he should go.

And, since the latter considerations are much more assured at KU or UNC than a national championship is even at UK, then, again, maybe UK is not the best choice.
