It's kind of funny that Republicans today are attempting to appropriate Kennedy as one of their own, because they sure weren't doing so when was in office.

Shouldn't someone tag Mr. Kennedy's 'bold new imaginative program' with its proper age? Under the tousled boyish haircut it is still old Karl Marx—first launched a century ago. There is nothing new in the idea of a government being Big Brother to us all. Hitler called his state 'State Socialism', and way before him it was relevant 'benevolant monarchy'.

There is a difference in a Republican and a conservative dem......or at least there used to be. I have never co-opted Kennedy as a conservative leader. He was a conservative dem. Just because he didn't believe in taxing people or businesses to death doesn't mean he wasn't a dem. The Bay of Pigs is directly attributable to JFK and his inability to make a decision.

Carcano rifles were made in different factories. Some were better than others. Their bad reputation was largely the result of the fixed sights. Oswald's rifle had a 4X scope mounted on it. Tests have proven that the second shot was in line with all the wounds except the head wound from the last shot, and that a Carcano could penetrate the depth required to make them. Ballistics were always the problem for me accepting the single shooter theory, but computer models and ballistics tests back it up. I think Oswald did it, acting on his own.

Believe there is too much coverup, that we'll never find out. From one thing I recently saw on TV, even one of the secret service agents may have accidently shot JFK in the throat as he tried to turn around in the car behind Kennedy. He had a shotgun. Have also heard a rumor that there was someone over the overpass and someone even saw smoke. There was at least 3 shots and maybe a 4th. There was no autopsy done at Parkland Hospital which should have been done. The Secret Service personnel didn't want it done there and said they would take Kennedy to Washington and have him checked out at Bethesda Hospital.

There are so many hidden agendas that happen in our country that our elected officials keep from us and so does the Secret Service that we'll never know. One thing for sure-God knows!

I don't drink anymore. But yes, I'm pissed about Saturday. Even more pissed that the single Vandy fan out here decided to text me after the game. So I'm trying to figure out a foolproof way of burning his house down and making it look like an accident. And hoping this thread would have given me some insight as to how to pull off the perfect crime and not get blamed.

Suppose I was wrong...about getting the insight.
