Great Scot! Did beer gut really score his 4th league goal of the season?! And a winner in stoppage time no less?!

Wow. He may get to 5 league goals this season after all!

I never said we don't dive, just not as horrible as that video. Every team dives. It's actually getting pretty bad in England as well.

Haha ok, sorry. My comprehension escaped me for a sec. However, I would say Barça is right there with the best of the best. Unrelated to Barça, but has anyone seen the video of the Italian nationals practicing diving?

His word is worthless.

Tevez will not play again.

Tevez is playing.

The trophy race is over.

The trophy race isn't over.

Balotelli won't play again.

Balotelli will play against United.

I don't see why you would think that? :whistling:

Neymar might be good, but right now he's playing in Brazil. Not exactly talentless but not anywhere close to the competition he would face in Europe. Messi is clearly the best all around player in the world, but Christiano Rinaldo is right behind him IMO. Some of the set piece goals I've seen from Rinaldo this season have been things of beauty.

Messi is a once in a 20 year span kind of player. Neymar will not even be close to Messi

I'd argue that you're actually underestimating Messi (you know what I mean, clearly you know how good the lil maestro is). All around, we may not see another "Messi" for 50 years.

Brazilian homers supporting their own and dissing Argentinians (didn't read the article, just saying).. Doesn't surprise me.

Time for Pele-Maradona celebrity death match or who-can-snort-the-biggest-line match. Maradona wins with a TKO in the third round.

Say it with me.. Cristiano Ronaldo.

People always say he is right behind Messi and while I do think he is the second best player in the world, I still think Messi is in a class of his own. He never plays a bad game and that isn't hyperbole. He's ridiculously consistent and he never gets rest, never comes off early. I'm not sure how long he can actually keep that up, but it's damn impressive.

So does that Andy Carroll goal count?

Not towards league goals which was my original statement.

I'll be fair though and give credit where it's due, it was a nice header. And he didn't flop and dive around this week which was also nice. Maybe he stuck to water this week.
