I've only started to pay close attention to futebol over the last couple years, but is my impression that Barca underachieved horribly this year too far off-base?

**** you Barca, and **** you Barca fans. I hate Chelsea but not today!

Suck yourself, homos.

(do you think I made it clear that I hate Barcelona? Wouldn't want anyone to get the wrong impression)

lol at the Arsenal fan who will only play with Barcelona on FIFA

I'm kind of torn about the results of today's game. I can't stand Barca, but with no real rooting interest in any of the teams left, I was kind of hoping to see a Barca/RM final. I can't believe that Messi couldn't convert that PK. Having it saved would have been one thing, but for one of the greatest of all time to straight up miss on the biggest of stages in inexcusable.

You have to think the fact that he hadn't scored against Chelsea before was going through his mind. He should have just picked side netting and let it rip instead of going for the perfect shot.

I really hate that Euro is this summer and not the World Cup. I'd really like to see how far Messi is capable of leading Argentina now that that fool Maradona isn't managing them. Also, since his move to Europe doesn't appear to be on the immediate horizon, I'd also like to see what Neymar could do up against world class competition. Don't get me wrong, Euro is still better than the summers with no international competition, but the WC is more fun because you get to see all of the best squads from around the world.

And that makes you a *********. And a even bigger ********* if that's the only team you will choose.

Wha huh? I don't choose the Cowboys because everybody and their momma on Madden uses Peyton and Brady, and the Cowboys secondary is godawful and I'm not good enough at it to overcome that.

But, more important than all of that, it's a damn game. You're getting all worked up over some information etched into a plastic disk.

The Brazilian attack is going to be so filthy in 2014. Already looking forward to it.

Bitter IMO. But I've been there so I may be the only one on this board that actually feels bad for barca in the smallest of ways. Hell, I'm still bitter over last years final.

**** being bitter. Atleast you were squarely beaten in the final last year. Granted, we have no one to blame but ourselves. But hitting the woodwork five times, missing a penalty, Chelsea scoring basically on their only three chances, finishing so poorly, Terry being sent off like a jackass. Those are a lot of tough pills to swallow.

De Matteo rolled the dice and decided to defend for the entirety of both legs and hit sparingly on the counter attack. It has made a lot of teams look absolutely idiotic and made Mourinho look like a dumbs last season, but a genius the season before that. I would say Chelsea were great goalkeeping and four posts away from being embarrassed.
