is the USMNT regressing under Klinsman or is this still growing pains? Do we even have the athletes to play the style Klinsman wants?

Regressing? He's been here less than a year! They've gotten better under him since Day 1.

We Americans want everything NOW! The Euro leagues have been around for 100 years. MLS has been around for about 20. It's going to take time. I realize we want to be thr best at everything. I want to be the best. But it's going to take time.

We will win the WC in my lifetime which is hopefully another 12-15 WCs

I think Klinnsman will do well here, given time. I feel good about what he is doing about developing talent, and the youth system. I like his connections to Germany and the Bundesliga. Hopefully we can place more guys there. I'm not sure how great of a game day coach he is, though.

why you blowing up on me for a simple question? ive been watching USA since 1994. is that patient enough for you? my question was meant more about the talent we have vs Klinsmans style. nothing else.

What up 3 points.

What a finish from Welbeck.... I'll even give props to Carroll for his play today.

Rooneys back and now it's on.

Days like today are a stiff reminder that the quality of officiating is the biggest obstacle to mls being taken seriously.

Galaxy earned three points but there were about five situations in which the refs made mind blowingly awful decisions

Went to my first game at LiveStrong Park in KC. I had been to games when the Wizards played at Arrowhead and the local baseball park but it was freaking amazing to finally see something to call their own. Absolutely beautiful! Hoping to make it back again this season

how can the league improve its officiating? i heard a couple things recently in a podcast, but i forgot what they were.

Diving isn't the issue with Mls refs, it's that they miss numerous calls. Guys get absolutely pummeled.

Our gk, Troy Perkins caught a set of cleats in the face from a guy in Montreal going in with both feet up and it was a no call.

Twice in the last two games have we caught a two legged tackle in the box in which the defender went cleats up and never even got within a foot of touching the ball.

This isn't one sided either, I counted a few tackles we made against galaxy that would have been yellows without hesitation in Europe, and didnt even get so much as a whistle.

Going to see RSL and Galaxy tonight. I've only been to one game this year, and am moving next week, so I've got to savor this one.

I've been trying to lock down a ticket for the cascadia derby... It's ridiculous. Nose bleeds with obstructed views are going for $100 on stubhub

So how long until Kaka is playing in the MLS? He's said many times that wants to play here and even has a pad in NYC.
