Dude, we gift-wrapped them 2 goals with bad passing along the back line. We came out flat, and still generally outplayed them (couldn't get a damn call), but we couldn't overcome the 2 gigantic mistakes.

So we've dominated the league, but earned 0 points against the 2 LA teams at home, and lost to a USL team in the open cup at home. We have a tendency to fall asleep when we think we have it in the bag.

i know you giftwrapped them, thus my :/. i only saw the highlights but my Galaxy got very lucky.

At the same time, galaxy is too good to be that far down the table. Plus they have keane coming back from euro soon.

Their D is atrocious. We played pretty poorly, but still scored twice, and had numerous chances (including a PK that should've been called), but I do agree Galaxy is better than their record indicates.

looks like the atmosphere there was pretty wild.. it makes me proud of mls

Will there ever be a day when our national team actually gets the call? I don't think it will ever happen.

Yes. We're still a long way off but we'll get there. We will win a WC in my lifetime, presuming I live to be the average age of a male (75ish)

I'm sure that's how most of the English have felt for the last half century.

In other news, it seems likely that City will add RVP to their stable of stars.

It works, gets the crowd into it, but even if you don't like it, I feel it's more than made up for by singing Elvis in the 80th minute of every game
