It was expected. If we carry out a similar effort against guatemala and jamaica, a draw or even a loss is not outside the realm of possibility.

Absolutely.

I will say though, they were relentless around the box, and if they could have finished, the outcome would have been sealed before the half.

I was glad to see Hercules tag a goal. He worked hard all game that I noticed.

This is going to be par for the course in this qualifying stage IMO. All the teams we face are going to be inferior from a talent perspective, and will likely pack the box full of defenders in and effort to not get demolished, although maybe not to the degree A&B did last night. We'll probably have to grind out some ugly wins against teams who are going to put 9, 10 or even 11 men behind the ball.

How were the groupings for EURO done? How'd we get Germany, Holland, Portugal, and Denmark in the same group? Do they do it like the World Cup and in tiers?

And how did you get a group of Greece, Poland, Russia and the Czech Republic?

Not pulling for Poland? I figured everybody pulls for the host country, unless your favorite team is in the same group.
I'll be rooting for Ukraine in their group, but that's because the rest of the group includes France, England, and Ibrahimovic.

I'll take it.

Let's go England. Ole' Roy, don't you dare put in Carroll. Can still take first in the group, and I think we will.

Hard to figure out who I wanted to win or lose that one more between England and France. Draw sits ok with me. And the result is in order.
