Swansea could shape up to have a better than expected season, eg not being relegated

They were one goal short of breaking into the top 10 last year, so I doubt anyone really expected they were in danger of being relegated. I've watched them twice this year and they've looked really good. I didn't realize West Brom also finished Top 10 last year, so maybe they are better than I've been giving them credit for. Still, Liverpool shouldn't have gotten destroyed by them on opening day.

Where are the Ronaldo apologists? Have yall been reading this **** about him being unhappy? Such an attention whore.

Yeah, his quotes are harmless and much different than what Ronaldo is doing. He's refusing to celebrate goals because he's "unhappy." So stupid.

With losing Joe Allen, Scott Sinclair, and Steven Caulker a lot of people had them as serious contenders for relegation... Their new signings have actually been a bit of a surprise.

Yep. They lost quite a lot, including a manager, so their start is definitely a surprise. It hasn't been fluky either, I've caught about an hour of their matches so far this season, they're just a sound team. Not good enough to win anything, but good enough to stay in the PL.

He's an ego maniacal, attention whore but as long as the above doesn't change, none of this matters. If he keeps scoring two goals a game, he can break down on the field and cry afterwards and it isn't going to make a damn bit of difference.

Except it's not in HD, and won't be for the time being and it's the Spanish version so the programming won't include the US games live.

the 4-5-1 was understandable the first couple games before Adebayor and Dempsey were locked in, Defoe was really the only striker.

Zero excuse not to run a 4-4-2 now though.

Absolutely love the Champions League. Nothing better than seeing two league winners go back and forth.

Man City wil be kicking themselves after those couple of blown chances in the second half. Could have really put Madrid in a tailspin.

Some great games yesterday. And you're right about City. Its almost like Hart just quit with the lead.
