Yep. Big thanks to them. The Reds need 3 tomorrow and that would mean a 5 pt lead on Chelsea. Would be massive.

It wouldn't be insurmountable, but it would be pretty close. It would certainly take a lot of pressure off the game with Chelsea, as it would make a draw a perfectly acceptable result and leave Chelsea needing to win out and have Liverpool lose their final two matches.

Yep. The only game on Liverpool's schedule that I'm truly worried about is Chelsea. They should beat Norwich, Crystal Palace and Newcastle.

I'm not going to be ok until we're up 4 points with a game to go. Or up 7 with 2.

Big game tomorrow. Must get 3 points or the Chelsea game becomes a must win again.

I'm more excited about Everton breathing down the gooners' collective neck. C'MON NIGEL

That's why I made the comment about Palace. Looking at that game on the schedule felt like an easy three points for Everton mid-week that would keep them ahead in the race for 4th, but it didn't turn out that way. They're playing really well right now.

a draw or win Sunday against Chelsea is crucial.. I don't see City leaving Goodison Park with all 3 points. Still have a lot of work to do with 3 remaining cup finals. YNWA

Hope Sturridge is ready to go because they need him. Sterling has come into his own, though, so I'm not panicked either way.

not having Hendo is critical....we need that work horse in the midfield to help push our CB's up the pitch.

I'm yet to hear anything on Sturridge...any word?

Part of me says too soon but it's the same side that won the premier league going away. They've looked awful this season

United needs a bit of retooling but in no way should they be losing to the lower half of the EPL on a consistent basis. First part of the year I thought he should get another year to pull things together, but there's no progress being made on implementing a system, if there is one. They're sort of in a tough spot because most of the top tier coaches are in their first year at a comfortable gig or otherwise doing well. Not to mention, Barca might be on the market for a new coach as well.

My major hangup is Moyes not really even getting a transfer window to work with before being shown the door. Unfortunately, aside from maybe four or five managers in the game, a single bad season is grounds for the sack virtually regardless of circumstance. That just seems to be the state of the game

Sad day for soccer/football fans. Tito Vilanova (former Barcelona manager) just passed away at the age of 45 after losing his battle with throat cancer. RIP.
