Alexis to Arsenal

Luis Suarez to Barcelona

Kroos to Real Madrid

Man, hate losing Kroos to Real Madrid but for whatever reason, he wasn't happy at Bayern. I don't expect the pastures at Madrid will be as green as he thinks it will be.

Barcelona's attack will be scary with Neymar, Messi, and Suarez.

We'll see how much Suarez enjoys Barca when he's not the first option. On paper, however, that team should be winning a Champions League with little problem.

Our midfield is a wreck and we need a big CB. And we have two new GKs that have not played in our system. I think we need at least a year to settle all this out.

I think he was referencing Messi being the main guy. The offense will be ran through Messi.

I think Suarez is going to be playing the exact position that Higuain is playing for Argentina.

Pretty much. Messi in from the right into the top of the box, with options to play it through to Suarez or flip it to Neymar on the other flank. I like the sound of that.

He didn't exactly demand the ball at Liverpool, so much as command attention. He can coexist as one head of a three headed monster. Barcelonas attack will be outstanding; they need retooling in the center midfield and center defense.

In Liverpool transfer news, they're looking at Karim Benzema and Jackson Martinez. I'd like either one, but it's nice to see they're aiming for guys of that caliber.

Sucks that all these good games are this summer because all of the World Cup players won't be traveling with their teams.

Friendlies are still good fun. Cheap tickets, I've had the chance to go see some of the decent players from Aston Villa, Vallencia and Norwich, such as they are. And there are always traveling supporters on vacation. Back and forth with chants between Villans and Timbers Army at the club watering hole was an outstanding experience.

There's usually big contract money with these summer games, so the bigger sides will roll with roughly half their XI then sub them at half.

Real Madrid has done great business this summer. Although, they don't need him and could have gotten him cheaper before Brazil, they still paid significantly less than Barcelona did for Suarez. And Suarez is 5 years older and can't even train with the team until October.

Kroos signing is a great deal although they got him so cheap because his contract is running out. I'm not really sure what Pep is doing at Bayern.
