Bayern's draw was brutal.

Liverpool came out okay. Real Madrid is obviously going to be a bear, but the other two (FC Basel and Ludogorets Razgrad) are manageable.

We'll be ok. This is the third or fourth group of death we've been in a row.

All Liverpool has to do is finish second, so they should be ok. I wish they still had Suarez. With him, they would have a puncher's chance against Real.

Looks like Bayern is signing Xabi Alonso. Not the world class player he once was, but still a nice signing.

Big deal to be sure, but not where they need help. They'll eke into the top four this year.

They're going to have to improve by leaps and bounds to even sniff the top four. Fortunately, they've still got 35 games to right the ship. I'm inclined to agree with you, I think they edge out Liverpool for the final CL spot.

Arsenal seem to be getting Welbeck. not sure about that, hopefully he can turn it around at a new club. most goals he's scored in a year is 12 total in 2011-2012 season

Gunners had many chances to sign somebody and lots of fans are mad thinking they were lied to when Wenger said the finances were there if they saw good players, but not much has happened

Remy, Carvalho, Falcao, Balotelli, Khedira, etc

If Liverpool play as well as they did vs Tottenham for a majority of their matches, they'll be a top 4 team without question, especially when Balotelli begins converting the chances like the ones he had last weekend.

Tottenham had lots of chances but didn't convert.

I felt that game was closer than the score at the end.

Liverpool definitely has their number.

a weak penalty call completely changed that game. Before that, Spurs had a chance to fight for a point. Once Spurs went 2-0 down, the game was over.

Not giving credit to Moreno's 60 yard sprint down the field with a beautiful finish to bottom corner, eh? :)

the game was pretty much over by that point. no way Spurs really had a chance down 2-0. Not trying to take anything away from Liverpool, they made the plays, Spurs didnt

Liverpool is done in the league. Focus on winning the League Cup and getting out of CL groups and maybe we'll get lucky and finish in the top 4 again.
