I'm ok with the way things played out. Thought 4th place was a better shot than winning Europa.

Oh, I'm with you. Just funny how Jekyll and Hyde this team is. Couthinho appears like he's going to be very good for a long time, which is a positive sign.

Jekyll and Hyde because it's two different teams. Hendo, PC, Markovic didn't play in Istanbul. Had they, things could have been different.

La Liga very competitive this year. Very obvious they are the best league again this year.

Will be in Vegas for El Clasico. Was for last years game too. Hoping for another classic Barcelona win

madrid cut it hella close today giving up 4 goals! howedes almost put shalke through at the end.

porto ran away with a 4-nil victory at home

Lolololololololololol at Chelsea. An away goal in hand, a man advantage for 90 minutes and a ref who literally looked the other way on an offense that should have been a sending off for Diego Costa still wasn't enough to get them through.

Madrid has been awful since Ramos injury, they need Modric back full strength in the worst way possible.

Also, they need to get rid of Khedira in the summer window/pick up Reus and try to convert Bale to the midfield of possible. He is useless on the right wing, would be a terror on the left side of midfield and having played LB earlier in his career should have no issue with physical aspect of it.

That might be too creative for Ancelotti though.

Where do you play reus in their system?

On the right where Bale plays now. Better crosser, and much better with both feet so he can still cut inside if he needs too. I don't think you can sale Bale without atleast trying him in the midfield. He's just too talented not to.

Their midfield has been getting over run for weeks now. That would be even worse if you slide Bale back. He's a high flying LW. Which happens to be their best players position.

He's not a natural winger though, didn't play the position really at all until Madrid, and it's clear he's on the wrong one. All I'm saying is he's physical enough that you give him a chance, and see if that helps the midfield at all. He would definitely be able to cut through most defenses with his speed. Modric in the middle, Bale/James on either side. Preseason experiment.

Who is breaking up the other team's possession in thag lineup? James and Bale are primarily attackers. Barcelona would eat that midfield alive with Rakitic, Iniesta, Busi and Messi dropping back in the midfield.
