Who is breaking up the other team's possession in thag lineup? James and Bale are primarily attackers. Barcelona would eat that midfield alive with Rakitic, Iniesta, Busi and Messi dropping back in the midfield.

Doubtful. Barcelona will lose El Clasico again and Real will hold on to the league. Ronaldo>>Messi.

Ronaldo was definitely better than Messi last season. I don't think you could say the same this year.

Madrid has been really bad for the past two months. Modric being back will help a lot but they are really struggling at a bad time right now. If Barcelona win next weekend, league will start slipping away from Madrid

You know what makes Messi so special? He scored zero goals in the Barcelona-Man City tie, and he was easily the divisive player between the teams.

Easier to be a playmaker in the center of the field as opposed to the left, especially in Barca's philosophy. At this point Neymar/Suarez are much better than Bale/Benzema.

The ball Messi played to Rakitic (from the right wing), is a play I don't think I've ever seen from Ronaldo. Not sure he's capable of that

Sounds like someone needs to convince Ronaldo himself of that.

Stoichkov also suggested that Lionel Messi's superb current form was weighing on Ronaldo's mind at present.

"I do not like to compare players -- that shows a lack of respect," the Bulgarian said, but he added: "Messi at the moment is much better. Maybe the obsession with Messi affects [Ronaldo]. I am not in his head."

You haven't been watching much Barcelona games this year. Messi has been on the right more than the center

Every game I've watched, granted only 5-6, Messi has been in the central part of the pitch and Suarez has been on the right. Their whole team drifts around in the last 1/3 but that's where they were the majority of the night. Have not watched recently I will say, so maybe it's different now.

Not sure what you are watching but he has played on the roght primarily and drifts centrally from time to time

It's been a couple years since I have enjoyed watching United play Liverpool. Too bad the red devils will lose this game 3-4

Awesome game earlier. Looks like I was wrong about el Clasico. Real's defense is just awful.

That was probably the final nail in the coffin for Liverpool's Champions League hopes. They had been in really good form, but ultimately probably just left themselves too much to do with that horrible start this season, and won't benefit from one of the Big Four having a down year again.

Glad to see the gunners lay down a nice 4-1 beat down over the pool today

Havent followed bor dort much; do they have a bunch of injuries this year or just losing people hurt them badly? Crazy that they're in the bottom half of the table this year

Injuries mostly plus getting plundered by other teams is having its effect. I love Bayern, but wish they would lay off of pilfering talent from Dortmund, although I guess I'd rather see that than Madrid or Chelsea do it.

A strong Dortmund makes for a stronger Bayern.
