glad champions league is back!

Chelsea got a big away goal yesterday against PSG and Bayern only picked up the draw.

right now I'm watching the RM/schalke game

It was nice being off the past few days and getting to watch these games. Big away goal for my Blues. Hoping we can beat PSG and move on. Sick of seeing them in Champions league.

Question for Totty and Pool now becomes, do you fight for 4th in the EPL or fight for the Europa title?

I think both teams have a better shot at winning Europa League than they do of beating out Arsenal for 4th in the EPL. On the other hand, Spurs are already in big trouble after the first leg because they only got a draw AND conceded an away goal. Obviously Everton have to go all out trying to win Europa, but also have to be careful they don't get dragged into the relegation battle. Kudos to UEFA for making winning Europa League a way to qualify for CL. It's drastically improved the stature of the competition.

What about catching ManU? Arsenal just leaped them into 3rd.

Either one of those teams are better than Liverpool and Spurs. The better teams almost always rise to the top in this kind of league format, which is why I said they have a better shot at winning Europa League than finishing 4th or better.

Big loss for manu and a surpising draw for chelsea. Man city annihilated Newcastle

Big game tm for the pool and Southampton

Dude cleated Matic on purpose in the calf and did not get a card. Matic ran over and pushed the guy (Matic did deserve the red). We were a man down and they tied. The refs are terrible in the Premier league lately. We should have had 2 penalties. One for hand ball, guy stuck his arm out and it hit. The other was for a guy shoving Costa, with both arms out.

Sorry for the little rant about the refs lol.

José, is that you?

Nice comeback by Spurs to salvage a point this morning.

Wild first five minutes at Southampton. Liverpool should be down to ten men and behind 0-2, instead they're ahead 1-0 thanks to an an incredible goal from Coutinho.

Yup EPL teams dropping fast. I think evertons the only one that moved on?

Not very promising outlooks for the bpl teams in the champions league after one leg

People's perception of the EPL is obviously dictated by the awesome coverage it gets in the United States. I wonder what the perception is of the the leagues in Europe
