Things could always not pan out, but we're getting much better. In the next 20 years we'll have established ourselves as a constant contender for the World Cup, IMO.
If you haven't played the demo you should check it out.. It is SO nice. They have actually made the players have touch now, and it was much needed.
Played about six games of it. I can't decide what I think about it. Doesn't seem too different from last year to be honest. I think what bothers me is that is absolutely impossible to even somewhat replicate the style that Barcelona plays. The game never really allows Messi to play like he does in real life. The only way to beat people most of the time is to do a skill move. Well Messi never does any kind of move besides using his quickness and agility. In FIFA, that just isn't possible because players just don't move fluently enough and defenders are way too good at making standing tackles.
This is true.. I am just glad that they have made the players bring in the passes rather than having to pick your direction immediately.
I agree with you though I believe they made the defenders too good. Hopefully it will get better when the actual game comes out. It is also very frustrating that you cannot make runs in this one very easy. The defenders seem to be much faster than the attackers.
I don't know if you noticed but they rated Laurent Koscielny of Arsenal a 73! An f'ing 73! I couldn't believe it.
I love the FIFA series. Probably my most played game the last few years. But the game is so one dimensional in terms of scoring. All goals come from players being through on goal. Which hardly happens. Just so limited in terms of ways to score.

There is a lot of talk that Wayne Rooney wants out of Manchester. Man Utd has said they'll try to keep him and offer a new deal.
I wonder where Rooney wants to go?
Do you mean lukaku?
I hope Barca takes a look at bringing another striker in. Pedro and Bojan just do not cut it

Yeah, I accidentally hit K. I think you'll have to give Pedro time, but I agree that they need another right now guy. With the money that they throw around I am surprised they haven't brought in Forlan. He would be a great addition. I know he is up there in age, but he is a game-changer.
Pedro has had a great past 12 months. I do think he is pretty limited in several aspects of his game. His work rate is world class, but that only gets you so far. Now I love forlan, but I'm not sure how he would fit in. I really want a big target man in the middle. We tried that with Ibra but he is just too lazy and selfish to fit in.

I could see how you would say that about Forlan. I think I just like the fact that he can score from almost anywhere and is ALWAYS a threat. That really opens things up in the box.
I heard today that Barca are putting plans to get Fabregas on the back-burner. Apparently they are in a financial situation that won't allow them to make that purchase next summer. This is good news for me, but it wouldn't surprise me to see them get it done.
