aw, come on! Somebody has to be the best in the world. You don't have to hate him because of it. At least hate someone like Ronaldo that gives you a reason to every time he comes out with a new pair of cheetah print pink boots.

Ironically Ronaldo is one of my favorite players. I was just said to see VDS go out with that loss. World-class keeper who didn't have much of a chance against that team.

Of course he will. He's probably fine with winning individual goal awards. That's all he's worried about. And the only reason he won those this year was due to scoring meaningless goals in meaningless games. The dude is nowhere to be found when it matters.

It's not impossible, but he still has a way to go for that, IMO. A great world cup will put him ahead of Maradona (who I think is overrated) in my mind.

I still think Ronaldo is the best player of my lifetime, followed closely by Zidane.

Obviously, the biggest thing missing from his resume is a World Cup title. I do think his performance last summer was very underrated. People see that he didn't score a goal and assume he played poorly. But he was the source of all their attacks and was extremely involved in the majority of their goals. Argentina's performance was a reflection of Maradona's inept managerial skills, not Messi, IMO.
