Farnsworth looks like he actually has a clue today. The guy is maddening. One day he throws it everywhere and the next day he's absolutely electric.

True...I was nervous when I seen him on the hill....Phils coming back, down by one now. Really need to take 2 of 3 from these guys. Did you hear the Simpson rant at the start of the game? Joe is cool.

Also, what do you think about Chipper from yesterday? Didn't hear about it until todays broadcast because I was at Neyland last night.

I missed the Simpson rant. what did he say?

Went off on the entire Marlin organization for not paying tribute to Bobby...and when i say went off, I mean went off. Did you see Chipper last night?

Didn't see Chipper get ejected, but heard it was over balls and strikes. Apparently, Chipper said something a little too loud and the home plate umpire looked at him just as he was giving a physical demonstration of just how bad a call it was.

I just wonder if he'll be back to serve his one game suspension...

I forgot, but after Simpson went off on the Marlins, he went off on Ramirez. Evidently, Hanley doesn't take the field when the rest of the team does, and it really burns Joe up. They even had video of it.

Was awful. Had the TV turned up loud and thought it hit the backstop. Was made they won, but glad to see him get up.

Apparently all is well with Morrison. His eye was really swollen after the game, but will be back in the lineup as soon as the swelling goes down enough that he can see out of that eye. Certainly could have MUCH worse.

No one ever said Melky was a gold glover out there!
I've been surprised at how suspect he is in the field. I think he's actually gotten worse as the season has gone on. He takes bad angles and just looks slow. There was no excuse for him not cutting that ball off in the 10th inning and at least holding the runner at 2nd.

Word heard while in Alpharetta last week is Braves bus shuttle from train/sub station in Underground Atlanta will soon be stopping the transfer of Braves fans to Turner Field.Finances.Why didn't they take the train line all the way into the stadium to start with and heard Alpharetta trying to become it's own county. Nice crowded area but clean and business's galore. My son did see the walk off homerun by McCann in person.Sweet!

1. The shuttle to Turner Field became useless when they moved it from Five Points to the opposite end of Underground, just because the useless Underground merchants wanted to compel everybody to walk by their cheap plastic crap first. But once you've walked through Underground, you're halfway to the ballpark, so at that point there's no point wasting time with the bus. I don't care if they kill it at all.

2. The train doesn't go to the ballpark because the Braves and Falcons didn't want to lose parking revenue at the time. Stupidest decision imaginable.

3. North Fulton has been talking about breaking off for forever, but it'll never happen. As a City of Atlanta taxplayer, let's just say that the most charitable way I could characterize their motivations is that they enjoy all the ancillary benefits of living in a major metro area, but they resent that a dime of their tax money gets spent down in the city that makes that metro area possible. They're jealous of those parasites over in Cobb, basically.

4. If you like sitting in Turkey Creek traffic and wish that it could go on forever, you'll love Alpharetta. Yuck.

It's one of the strangest decisions ever. It's like they put both the east/west and the north/south lines strategically just far enough away that they aren't practical. The walk from the Ga State station to the old stadium wasn't that bad, but when they moved to Turner Field way over on the other side of the parking lot, I swore it off.

When you look at a map, it's pretty clear that they actually went out of their way to miss the ballpark. Makes you want to find those people that made that happen 30 years ago and, if they're still alive, strangle them.

The North/south line does make a pronounced right curve away from the stadium. I never got why they didn't just run the rail line on the opposite side of I-75 from the stadium.

Until a month ago I lived half a mile from a MARTA station. I probably would have gone to a dozen more games a year on the spur of the moment if I could have just jumped on, stayed on the south line past Five Points, and come out right at the ballpark. Getting down there is such a needless pain in the arse.

I just don't see why you wouldn't enjoy the stroll from Garnett Station over to the ballpark.

Derek Lee is looking like a complete bust. It's hard to believe the way Ankiel and Lee just have not hit a lick since joining the Braves.
