During the summer between my junior and senior year I was standing about 20ft away when our first baseman took an 88mph fastball to the face and it pretty much exploded his nose and eye sockets. It was awful. Doesn't sound like Heywards is anywhere close to that which is obviously a good thing.

I don't think it got him up around the eye, but it was hard to tell. I think it was "just" on the jaw.
